Floripa (7:46)
Favouride (6:38)
Review: Hamburger DJ Koze and his Pampa imprint never fails to impress. This time he recruits the legendary German producer Isolee to work his magic on this tremendous release. It's the quirkiest of minimal house that you'd expect on "Floripa" with its druggy and hypnotic style reminiscent of Perlon or Villalobos. On the flip is "Favouride" and undoubtedly one of the darkest tracks he's ever produced with its humming sub bass and creepy pygmy chants fading in and out of the mix over some seriously tight rhythm programming. It's just got to be heard. Tip!

Haz (9:20)
Pacificon (8:41)
Review: REPRESS ALERT: Consistent in his output since 2006, London-based Alex Celler has carved a reputation recording on highly esteemed imprints such as Tuning Spork, Contexterrior, Broquade and All Inn to name a few. Now he turns up the heat for an impressive two-track debut on Trelik.

The A-Side "Haz" kicks off with tight, dry drums moving emotively with warm bubbling bass, subtle house stabs and soothing, mysterious vocals. Drops and licks of percussion build and fall over the 9:19 duration with the aid of cleverly scattered piano keys this forward thinking arrangement stands-out perfectly.

"Pacificon" on the B-side strips things back to the bare-essentials, a highly playable cut that takes on a more techno-orientated approach featuring persistent bass and metallic vocals creating a deadly effective backdrop of space and tension.

Playroom (9:51)
A Less Complex Situation (11:10)
Review: Daniel Paul and Jens Augustowsky have been steering Cabinet Records for twenty years now, establishing the label as one of Berlin's most reliable outlets for techy, housey fare and contributing their own weight in productions under various aliases. Cab Drivers is one of their longest-running collaborations with Playroom their 11th 12" release under the name in those two decades, and their studio understanding is quite evident in the productions. Both the ten minute title cut and "A Less Complex Situation" are understated but wholly effective DJ tools with the subtle acid modulations of the former just edging it.

Garden Of Buddha (6:48)
All Bun (8:06)
Traveling Soul (6:48)
Review: Switzerland's Alci first made his name on Phil Weeks' Robsoul a few years back, and he's come a long way since then, now landing on Dan Ghenacia, Shonky and Dyed Soundorom's Apollonia imprint, home to Chris Carrier, Premiesku, and even Kerri Chandler, of all people! The young Swiss house aficionado slams down three killer, itchy and teched-out groovers, with "Garden Of Buddha" kicking things off with a minimal edge and some naughty little sonics, to boot. The flipside sees "All Bun" scurry its intricate percussion swing around stripped-back melodies, whereas "Travelling Soul" adds in a little bit of flavor and a lot more funk thanks to its deep bassline and echoing sways of melody. Nice stuff.

Just A Sin (Diego Krause remix) (7:08)
The 2nd Degree (6:53)
Just A Sin (8:35)
Review: Dan Ghenacia and Chris Carrier, two kingpins of the contemporary French house scene, team up for a collaborative EP on their native Adult Only label, specializing in deep, funky beats since the late 1990's. The duo serve up title track "Just A Sin" as an appetizer, a seriously pounding and head-first house banger tailor-made for the club, followed the main dish "The 2nd Degree", a deeper, more subtle DJ tool boasting a mean percussive edge. The dessert comes in the form of a remix of "Just A Sin", whipped up by Diego Krause in what the Germans would describe as being "effectively waxed". Powerful tools for the powerful deejay.

Changes (feat Beckford) (6:09)
Changes (Kris Wadsworth Puberty remix - Vinyl Only) (6:56)
Changes (Deadbeat remix) (6:45)
Review: Riding high on the success of a second release that introduced A-Scott & Chad to the Constant Sound fold, the third instalment finds Burnski back in the saddle to offer up "Changes", getting into a more techno-oriented frame of mind without losing that warmth and playful sensibility he has made his own over the years.
After strong remixes from Trus'me, Steve O'Sullivan and Cab Drivers on previous releases, Constant Sound 003 gives another opportunity for the label to call upon the finest in the business to reinterpret the original material.
In keeping with the heads-down workout tones of Burnski's original, it makes perfect sense to invite an artist as accomplished as Deadbeat up for a remix. Scott Monteith has long been a stellar example of how to push dub techno in thrilling new directions and it shows on his version of "Changes".
Kris Wadsworth has just as much to say for himself after years spent crafting heavyweight house and techno with a mercenary instinct matched by lashings of machine soul. He reduces the original track into a stripped down techno dub perfect for late at night. His remix will only be available on the vinyl.
It's yet another step forwards for a label committed to delivering nothing but the highest quality house and techno for those who seek a touch more depth from their music.

Vespre & Bongos (11:20)
Snow White (8:20)
Vespre & Bongos (The Mole remix) (7:33)
Slipentoule (10:45)
Bylka (9:47)
Review: French minimal house auteur Seuil is back on the scene and on form too. Dabbling in fairly naff deep house for the last few years, he's gone back to what he does best; clicky and quirky reductionist groove as seen also on his other collaboration Hold Youth with Le Loup. The bumpy and bleepy bassline working with a wacky micro-sampled rhythm section on "Vespere & Bongos" demands your attention. As does the tremendous remix by The Mole; a tad more dancefloor friendly and working those bongo drums infectiously well. The claustrophobic and beatless glitch-fest that is "Snow White" repeats the pitch-shifted phrase "so what are we doing?" It doesn't do much, but that's what's so good about it!

Untitled (7:11)
Review: TI-REX is an electronic music label founded in Milan, Italy. The city is becoming more and more a cross of influences, thanks to the expansion in the art and entertainment panorama.
ti-rex gets its inspiration from the incredible underground music taste of Ricardo Villalobos, Perlon and the Romanian scene.
The first release wants be a presentation of the project with the objective to propose quality music in this context; it draws inspiration from the traditional Brasilian Manha de Carnaval chant from the Orfeu Negro soundtrack of legendary Gilberto Gill, performed by Elizeth Cardoso in 1959. A second release will follow soon. Enjoy.

Jealousy (Greg Wilson & Derek Kaye remix) (8:38)
Jealousy (Timo Maas & James Teej 'Machina' mix) (6:40)
Jealousy (Citizenn remix dub) (8:18)
Review: Irish vocalist Roisin Murphy has seen and done it all over the last fifteen or so years. She's both released plenty of her own music via labels such as EMI and Echo, but also been remixed by everyone from bass-boy Toddla T to JD Twitch and Daniele Baldelli. Crosstown Rebels are the ones to deliver her next batch of remixes - the tune in question is "Jealousy" - this time by a bunch of house legends who all know a thing or two about remixing. First up are Greg Wilson and Derek Kaye who deliver a gorgeous string-heavy disco reinterpretation of the original, followed by tech-house kingpin Timo Mass and his wobbly, freaked-out version. Last up, Citizenn delivers an utter beauty with his heady dub remix, a certified winner in the dance. Hot.

Triptil - "Drumlung" (8:40)
Varhat - "Mantra" (9:19)
Raru - "Space Disco" (6:58)
Vendi - "Er" (8:14)
Review: Underground alert; inaugurating the new voice of the Romanian underground is Crocus and watch this space because things are bound to get hectic if the first release is anything to go by. They're all relatively new artists here. Triptil kicks things off with "Drumlung" which will please fans of the ar;pi;ar label; deep and subterranean as hell. Varhat presents "Mantra" which is equally impressive with its tight sinister groove rolling with a booming kick for fans of Barac or anything on the Understand label. But Vendi is the only artist on here that any of you may know of, and his track on here is just as worthy as anything else he's released of late. "Er" is the kind of early morning jam that you could imagine hearing at Sunwaves festival with its deep and summery yet abstract vibe.

Track 1 (10:40)
Track 2 (10:19)
Review: Here's an ode to Ode. Hell, they're still only on one of their first few releases but they're good for it, trust us! Here's the lowdown; soulful German techno reminiscent of Kanzleramt or early noughties Tresor. "Track 1" samples the existential ramblings of an intellectual over a tough and emotive groove with nice syncopated rhythms. On the flip "Track 2" gets more minimal with a more reduced house groove, haunting pads and whistling melody sounding like a hi-tech Daniel Bell track. Pretty good.

Devoue (Manfredas remix) (6:33)
Review: With previous releases on I'm A Cliche and Correspondant, Moscoman, originally from Tel Aviv but now in Berlin, arrives at the city's Salon zur Wilde Renate institution delivering them a fourth release. First up is "Girls Down South", a cool and sexy groover that's perfect for the warm up set, alongside a chugging epic that is "Deluded Heart". On the flip there's two versions of Devoue; the original is a real standout with low slung bass working off some cool drumming; punk funk anyone? The remix by Manfredas is a more for an afterhours take for the Sunday crowd.

Egl 3 - "Titlu & Poveste" (Cumsecade Inchele mix) (7:15)
Stathis Lazarides - "Stepping Up" (7:39)
Review: Breda, Netherlands based record store and label Memoria offers us some quality minimal house here from four esteemed artists. Martinez has been at it for a few years now and delivers the chunky "Keppont" while Romanian VID, following up releases on Pleasure Zone and An dromeda gives us the pristine production that is "Etime" with its mesmerising melody. On the flip we've got Cumsecade Inchele with his remix of "Titlu & Poveste". We don't know what it means, but can assure you it sounds wicked; tight drum programming beneath a haunting and persisting chord. Finally Stathis Lazarides takes things to a more deeper, abstract groove on "Stepping Up" which proudly wears its Perlon influence on its sleeve. Tip!

Body (6:04)
Day Four (5:59)
Review: Enriching the sonic portal, techno conscript Antenna Happy marks his second release on Reinhardt with two pieces of finely crafted electronic music, in the shape of Body and Day Four.
First to the fold, Body. A dance floor essential, unraveling and built to work the late night hours. Plug into the psychedelic mainframe, and convert to this robust track.
Next up, Day Four takes the reigns. Ghostly pads forged the way before mechanical synths reset the system. Day Four much like its bedfellow Body, holds court in both the worlds of house and techno.
Debuting under his Antenna Happy guise (after a 20 year period absent from releasing music) in September of last year with the esteemed Pinto EP, he has since been commissioned for a vinyl 12" release on Tenth Circle (Defected Records sub-label) and enlisted to remix Alpines, Vessels, Name/age and Ephemerals. Antenna Happy also self-releases a limited edition white label for Record Store Day, and after debuting his new live show in London during February, further club shows and festivals appearances are to follow for this inventive producer.

Ciobanul Vesel (6:35)
Review: Bucharest's Little Hado lands on Berlin's Sleep Is Commercial for his latest episode of minimal-edged house for the dancefloor. The four tracks on here span the full tech circle, starting with the pouncing, snare-driven bursts of "De Banat", before being swallowed whole by a wave of subbass and bleepy minimalism on "Biciul Fermecat". Over on side B, "Dupa Amiaza" is a dubby techno number filled with hazy delay, while "Ciobanul Vesel" instantly brings to mind the work of Villalobos and the Perlon collective. Not bad at all..!

Review: J.D. Twitch's Optimo Music never fails to impress. Discovering or unearthing some of the most obscure and quality electronic music and this is no exception. This time courtesy of the mysterious Rita Furstenhof. The cosmically Italo vibes of the title track features one of the most awesome arpeggios and some truly epic synth atmospheres overall. "Disco Flamingo" is a sublime slice of slo-mo deep house featuring some gorgeous melody with some soaring and soulful synth leads that have just got to be heard. Also on the flip is "Aa Viatel" which delves into the darker realms with yet another amazing arpeggio on a more sinister John Carpenter vibe complete with angelic choir chords gone to the dark side. Tip!

Review: Sascha iO from Kiev has been releasing steadily since 2009, starting out big on labels such as Diynamic, Leftroom and Rejected. In the last few years he kept a fairly low profile until a recent release on Adam Shelton and Subb-an's One Records; so it seems his star is on the rise again. Propaganda Records is a vinyl only label from the Ukraine and they've taken it upon themselves to showcase his dreamy and breaks driven tech house. It's all about "Le Song" on the A side with its driving funky bassline and swirling synths. On the flip "Hindsight" packs just as much funk and that rhythm is totally tight, backing some splashes of Ry Cooder style guitars and mesmerising melody.
