SG (mix A) (5:21)
SG (mix B) (5:29)
Review: The Money $ex and OYE affiliated Alex Seidel from Berlin is more known more his dusty MPC deep house jams but makes the crossover into electro on the SG 12". On the first side is SG (mix A) a serving of dirty and lowdown electro funk where snappy vintage machine breaks are balanced out by some dreamy Rhodes keys: remnants of Seidel's more typical work. On the flip, SG (mix B) injects more ferocity and tempo in the track; the breaks on this one get more glitchy and aggressive.

Acidbanger (7:38)
Hornet Tea (6:33)
Offonone (5:07)
Review: Dez Williams. Perhaps the most under-rated UK techno and electro producer of the last fifteen years. While many associate him with the latest wave of house, techno and bass, Williams has actually been putting out banging, face-melting acid and techno since the early 2000s, and his Elektronik Religion label has invariably been a safe spot for quality warehouse music with an industrial edge. This new hand-stamped 12" for Killekill's freshly launched VANTA SERIES is all about the 303 bleeps: the aptly named "Acidbanger" does exactly what it says on the tin, ""Hornet Tea" is a loose and bubbly acid experiment that dissolved into pure oblivion, whereas "Offonone" reduces the acid down to a subtle swarm beneath a jarring sway of synth keys and ominous sonics. Powerful gear - go easy.

Review: Renowned German photographer Wolfgang Tillmans made his debut as a producer on the 2016 / 1986 Ep last year and now presents the follow up entitled Device Control. The title track is a serving of slow grinding and sexy pop inflected electro, reminiscent of early noughties acts such as .ADULT or Fischerspooner. The woozy and hypnotic acappella "Angered Son" is a duet with Kyle Combs, performed live. "Make It Up As You Go Along" gets a couple of tremendous renditions: Salem deliver their trademark brand of witch house on their remix, while Berlin's disco hero Daniel Wang teams up with J.E.E.P. for a fabulous deep acid journey (a handy dub version is also included).

Taking An Already Taken Decision (9:22)
Dolphin's Cry (6:39)
Haguenesse Wind (5:40)
Review: Apparently, ITPDWIP is short for "Instant Teleportation Process Detected While In Process", which should give a clue to the sci-fi influences at the heart of Vladimiros Peilivanidis's latest project. This is the follow-up to his well-received Anachronism 12" on Frustrated Funk, and contains a trio of melodious, far-sighted cuts. Our highlight is probably "Taking An Already Taking Decision", where wistful chords and bubbling electronic motifs wind themselves around a rubbery bassline and elastic electro beats. That said, there's something almost as alluring about the lo-fi analogue synths, deep space chords and curiously swinging beats of "Dolphin's Cry", while the mutant IDM-funk of "Haguenesse Wind" - think early Autechre, and you're close - is similarly impressive.
