Review: It's fair to there's currently nobody in the business making proper garage with the same flair that DJ Q currently does, and his new single, entitled "Trust Again", featuring the vocal talents of Brit School alumnus Louise Williams, is possibly his most classicist piece of 90s-leaning garage to date. Those who heard the producer's excellent vinyl-only track "Brandy & Coke" last year will know what to expect - strong vocals, clipped 2-step rhythms and razor-sharp production. Serious remixes are included too, with the first remix in some time from Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown, member of the old school garage outfit Tuff Jam, a bassline remix from DJ Q collaborator TS7, and a 4×4 mix from DJ Q himself.

Review: Highly limited and looking rather sexy on white vinyl, the unstoppable Lil Silva delivers two impeccable club cuts here and support has already been pledged by players as far and wide as Shy FX and Bok Bok. "The Split" is a true 4/4 garage treat that smacks of turn of the century promise back when dubstep was bit a pip in the Apple's eye. "Venture" is more your classical Lil Silva style with a tropical riddim and infectious high-end riff.

Review: If you're searching for that golden nugget of peak time, bash-out hysteria to get 2-step loving kids going wild, then look no further than this latest super sharp shooter from T Williams. From the first instance the swinging drums and vocal snippets kick off, complemented with staccato fills to kick the tune off proper. Bringing a modern spin on the classic UK Garage sound, a chunky chord line is brought in with a tech house leaning, sneaking in as a delicate piano before the meaty synth picks the phrase up and runs with it. There's no secret trick to this track, just the right ingredients dropped with a deft touch for maximum impact.
