ART SCC Studio Control Centre
 Añadir al Carro
 1 in stock $131.23
ART SCC Studio Control Centre (studio control centre)
Cat: 607369 Rel: 11 Apr 16

Compact studio control center with up to 3 selectable sources & master mute / mono switches
Notes: The ART SCC is the ideal compact solution allowing you to take complete control of your studio space. Three selectable stereo sources can be quickly and easily routed to any or all of three sets of stereo balanced outputs from the front panel. Sources can be individually selected or blended from the front panel. Separate trim pots ensure proper levels between sources can be preset. A large single volume knob controls the overall output level of the system.

A separate cue source input with its own outputs and level control allows a separate headphone mix to run in parallel to the main mix. The headphone output can easily switch between the cue source and the main input source with the touch of a single button on the front panel.

Additional controls on the SCC include a master mute switch, and a mono switch allowing you to sum the stereo inputs to mono to check phase in any mix.

In a typical studio setup, one set of inputs on the SCC would connect to the main output of your DAW workstation or computer audio card. Secondary outputs or headphone output would be connected to the SCC's Cue Mix input allowing for a second, completely separate headphone mix. Other sources (keyboard, iPod, analog sub mixer etc) can connect to the additional stereo inputs.

Outputs would be connected to nearfield and midfield monitors or monitors and subwoofer. Multiple inputs and outputs can be used at the same time.

Behringer FCV100 Foot Controller Ultra Flexible Dual Mode Foot Pedal for Volume and Modulation Control
 Añadir al Carro
 2 in stock $28.66
Cat: 493885 Rel: 07 Oct 13

Dual mode foot pedal, battery or mains powered
Notes: Get louder, get quieter, or get modulated with the Foot Controller FCV100. This versatile pedal from Behringer works equally well as a volume pedal or a modulation pedal.

The FCV100 can accommodate two mono or one stereo instrument via dual 1/4" Input jacks. By switching into Norm mode, the FCV100 is capable of controlling the volume of two individual instruments. In CV mode the FCV100 can control modulation and volume levels of other musical instruments by connecting Output 2 to the volume or modulation input of the instrument. In CV mode, when Output 2 is in use, Input/Output 1 can still be used for controlling the volume of another instrument, similar to Norm mode.

Once you have determined your hookup configuration, simply depress the pedal to increase sound, then rock back on your heel to decrease the sound. By turning the Min Vol control, you can determine the minimum volume you wish to achieve. You can power this pedal with a 12V DC Power adapter (not included) or a 9V battery.

Notes: *** B-STOCK: Box opened, but product is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. ***

Command all control room monitoring functions right from your mix position with the MSC1 Monitor System Controller. In a convenient desktop form-factor, the MSC1 provides essential monitor strip features found in large mixing consoles. Since the acoustics of your room can play a big part in what you hear, the MSC1 includes JBL's highly acclaimed RMC Room Mode Correction Technology, which measures your room and tackles low frequency problems caused by room modes and boundary conditions. The end result is a calibrated reference environment in which your speakers work in harmony with your room to take the guesswork out of mixing. Once your system has been measured, re-calibration of your speakers is fast and easy and can be done at any time. After RMC calibration, the MSC1 works as a stand-alone controller and connection to a computer is not required. With RMC you can tune your monitor system for greater clarity at the mix position.

The MSC1 is designed to work with any studio monitor system in any room. No matter what speaker system you own, you can have a truly calibated environment, fine-tuned to give you your best mixes. In addition to managing RMC Calibration, the MSC1 Control Centre software provides fine control of monitor EQ, speaker alignment delay, subwoofer balance, and bass management crossover settings.

JBL Nano Patch+ Passive Stereo Volume Controller
 Añadir al Carro
 1 in stock $71.68
JBL
Cat: 599649 Rel: 18 Jul 16

Passive stereo volume controller with completely transparent operation
Notes: Compact 2 Channel Passive Volume Controller:
The Nano Patch+ really comes into its own when connected between your computer audio interface/soundcard master outputs and a pair of active (powered) monitor speakers. One of the benefits of passive volume attenuation is that you no longer have to control volumes with your software's master volume fader. Reducing levels from your software only reduces the audio bit depth. It is much more appropriate to keep your software masters at unity and attenuate the audio to your active monitors with a passive controller like the Nano Patch+. This way you can maintain maximum audio resolution and attenuate your monitoring volume with the confidence that the sonic integrity of your audio is not compromised.

No active circuitry, buffers, transistors, batteries, or power supply of any kind can interfere with the main passive output of the Nano Patch+. It simply delivers attenuated signal. Pure, simple transparent.

Mackie Big Knob Studio Command System

 1 in stock $301.05
Mackie Big Knob Studio Command System (studio control system)
Cat: 416738 Rel: 22 Oct 12

Monitor switching and volume & headphone control box
Notes: Since the dawn of computer-based music making, folks have longed for a simple monitor switching and level control box with built-in talkback functions. You know, something that sits right on your desktop, letting you easily switch between sets of studio monitors and different stereo sources. And send musicians custom headphone mixes while you communicate with them via a built-in talkback microphone. Your wish is Mackie's command.

The Big Knob is a simple yet powerful desktop audio control center that lets musicians and engineers get right to the business of making music in four major ways: Level control, studio monitor selection, input source selection and talkback & headphone control.

Using a big, convenient volume knob, the Big Knob lets you adjust volume levels the way our ancient audio ancestors (Analogus Engineerus) did, with a simple, intuitive knob, not with a mouse and screen. The end result is a higher degree of precision and much quicker level adjustments.

When it comes to mixing, pros know it's best to get a second, and third, opinion. So the Big Knob lets you quickly switch between 3 pairs of studio monitors, or 2 studio monitors and a subwoofer, or studio monitors and a home stereo, or any other combination of powered speakers.

On the input side, the Big Knob lets you connect up to 4 stereo input sources at once. This means you can simultaneously connect to your computer/DAW outputs, CD player, cassette deck and even a turntable using the premium onboard RIAA preamp. You can even connect keyboards, guitars, drum machines, samplers, anything you'd like to hear, through your monitors. This makes the Big Knob great for comparing your mixes-in-progress to your favorite CDs, for archiving your old LPs, jamming along to your favorite tune, and lots more.

With its built-in talkback mic and spring-loaded activation switches, the Big Knob lets you quickly communicate with musicians in both the studio and tracking room, no more hand signals through the glass. The Big Knob also sports 2 high-powered headphone outputs with a discrete headphone mix bus, solving the communications needs of most computer-based studios.

Although its shiny silver knob is a head-turning feature, the Big Knob's rear panel is equally impressive. There you'll find three distinct Monitor outputs with individual level control; 2-track A and 2-track B stereo outputs with level selection switches; a DAW stereo output for your computer; a studio output with level control; a phones mix input with level selection switch; 2-track A and 2-track B stereo source inputs with level control; a DAW mix input from your computer with level control; and even a phono input with level control for direct connection to your turntable.

Because the Big Knob plays a crucial link between recording output(s) and studio monitors, Mackie placed the utmost importance on pristine, no-compromise sound quality. For this reason, the Big Knob features ultra low-noise op amps, extremely low-tolerance components and state-of-the-art surface mount technology. All of this ensures superb sound in critical listening environments and long-term reliability, even under daily, and nightly, studio use.

Softube Console 1 Mixer Controller With Softube Model Of Solid State Logic SL 4000 E Channel Strip
 Añadir al Carro
 2 in stock $495.13
Cat: 552889 Rel: 16 Mar 15

Audio mixer/controller allowing a new and improved approach to DAW mixing, with quick and intuitive workflow & analog sound
Notes: Console 1, the next generation mixer, is a unique centerpiece for the DAW based studio. The hardware lets you quickly switch between your tracks and control gate, EQ, compressor and more. The Console 1 software gives you the sound of a classic Solid State Logic console.

The award-winning Console 1 takes the quick and intuitive workflow of a digital mixer and pairs that with the great sound of a classic analog mixer. This is why we call it "the next generation mixer" - it offers a new and much improved approach to mixing in the computer.

Console 1 is not a DAW controller, or even a plug-in controller. It's a separate hardware/software mixer that works in tandem with your DAW.

Use one of the track selector buttons on the hardware to select the track you want to work on. Then use the physical knobs and buttons to adjust the included gate, EQ, compressor, high/low cut filters, transient shaper and emulated analog console distortion. Select a track, tweak the knobs. Select another track, tweak the knobs - that is essentially the workflow of Console 1.

Each parameter has a corresponding knob or button on the hardware. The track count is unlimited, parameter changes can be automated and all your settings are saved with the DAW project for total recall.

Included in the Console 1 package is Softube's model of Solid State Logic SL 4000 E - one of the most classic and widely used analog consoles in the world. Softube's model has been scrutinized by Solid State Logic's own experts, who have officially endorsed it. The channel strip includes the coveted black knob E 242 equalizer, the classic channel compressor, the musical expander/gate and the sweet high and low cut filters from the SL 4000 E channel.

We have also included a model of the harmonics, distortion and non-linearities obtained from overdriving the SL 4000 E console, so you can drive it hard for that slighly gritty and coherent sound that the SL 4000 E is famous for. Adding to that is Softube's own Transient Shaper, which is not a part of the SL 4000 E console or any other analog unit for that matter.

To expand the available sound palette, the Solid State Logic XL 9000 K-Series for Console 1 can be purchased separately, and more emulations of coveted analog consoles are in the works. These channels can be used to replace the SL 4000 E on all or just a few tracks, and you can even mix and match individual sections according to your own preferences - for example using the XL 9000 K gate as a part of the SL 4000 E channel.

Furthermore, each channel can be customized by adding other Softube plug-ins (also purchased separately). So if you for example prefer our Tube-Tech CL 1B Compressor to the inlcuded SSL SL 4000 E compressor on a specific track, simply switch compressors and start working with the CL 1B as a part of Console 1 instead. The same applies to the gate and EQ sections.

The On-Screen Display - Console 1's mixer window - gives you perfect and detailed visual feedback of the selected channel's settings. At the bottom of the window, the meter bridge displays the levels of the currently selected channel bank (unlimited number of banks, each holds 20 channels). But you also get plenty of visual feedback from the hardware. LED rings show the knobs' positions, and meters display input and output levels, as well as gate and compressor gain reduction. So for an even more analog mix experience, just turn off the On-Screen Display and use your ears! You won't get lost.

When you first install Console 1 on your computer, a plug-in aptly named Console 1 appears in your DAW's plug-in folder. When this is inserted on a track, buss or aux channel, the sound is routed to the Console 1 mixer and back. So the DAW and Console 1 are separate systems, but they're connected by the Console 1 plug-in. In order to get control of your entire mix, we recommend that the Console 1 plug-in is inserted on all tracks, buses and aux channels of the DAW project.

Apart from basic features such as Solo, Mute and Phase Invert, the system offers several additional functions to make your mix work easier, all controlled from the Console 1 hardware. This includes the ability of grouping any or all channels to tweak the settings simultaneously across the group, and changing the order of the effect sections. You can copy settings from one channel strip to the other, or just the sections you want to. You can also use parallel compression and and route an external sidechain signal into the gate or compressor. You can save and call up presets for the entire channel strip or the separate channel sections. The On-Screen Display is toggled on and off with a dedicated button on the hardware.

The History function is simply an undo feature that allows you to go back in time and undo all parameter adjustments you have performed. Very few DAWs offer an undo functioin for plug-in settings, but you get that with Console 1.
