The clear plastic sleeves are similar to the ones you get in Japanese paper sleeve packages. They're great for using if you lose your sleeves from any of those, or if you've bought LP-styled CD packages from other outlets and want something to protect the CD inside. Antistatic, and very well constructed.

Notes: Even if you use your GrooveWasher to clean your records, room dust, lint and cat hair can accumulate on your stylus. Your stylus will "plow" out any debris that isn't removed from a record cleaning.

We sourced and tested dozens of brush styles, handle types and bristles. Straight "pencil" brushes. Artist camel hair brushes. Toothbrush styles. Mascara brushes.

We preferred a 90 degree angle. Long bristles so the brush can clean the underside of the cartridge as well as the stylus. Dense bristles to pull off gunky coatings but soft to avoid damage to the stylus or cantilever. Those are the effective cleaning features of our new stylus brush. This brush can be used dry or with a couple of drops of SC1 Fluid.

This kit includes our SC1 Stylus Fluid. It's a cousin of our G2 Fluid with a bit more organic alcohol. The stylus can become clogged with oily pressing release compound from new records and residue from other record cleaning and preservative fluids. SC1 Stylus Fluid dissolves these contaminants and the SC1 Brush removes them.

Note: Hard surface cleaning fluids like G2 and SC1 can be irritating to skin and eyes. Avoid contact with your eyes. Flush with clean water. Keep all cleaning products out of the reach of children.

The newly developed aluminium LED target light is freely moveable to help you find the stylus position in dark surroundings. The target light is also removable and easily exchanged. An additional start/stop button has also been integrated to facilitate a vertical setup (battle position) and by using the buttons on the RP-7000 MK2's top panel, you can switch between the three motor speeds (33 1/3, 45 & 78 rpm). Dedicated buttons for forward and reverse mode allow for further creativity in your mix.

High-Resolution Pitch Section with Digital Fader:

Using the high-resolution pitch fader you can adjust the platter speed in the classic turntable pitch range +/-8%. However, the RP-7000 MK2 is also cable of a wider, DJ-friendly +/- 16% pitch range and a massive +/-50% ultra-pitch. This allows for increased creativity when modulating the playing record's tone. If quartz lock is active, the platter speed will remain unaffected by the fader position and will spin at zero pitch (0%).

High-Quality Connections and Integrated Phono Pre-Amp:

Thanks to the recessed rear connection panel, the RP-7000 MK2 can easily be mounted in a flight case and seamlessly positioned next to other DJ gear. The switchable integrated phono pre-amp makes it is possible to use the gold-plated RCA connectors for both phono and line output signals. An optional ground terminal offers additional protection in club environments. All cable connections (RCA/mains) are detachable and easy to exchange, which also helps with transport and storage.

Powerful Motor with Extensive Adjustment Possibilities:

The fine-tuned, quartz-driven motor with digital pitch correction operates at a starting torque of 2.8kg/cm, which can be adjusted up to a maximum of 4.5kg/cm. This makes it an extremely smooth running turntable with wow and flutter of just 0.01% WRMS*. Furthermore, the turntable break speed (platter stop) can be adjusted from 0.2 - 6 seconds and the precision-machined, heavy die-cast aluminium platter is lined with vibration reducing rubber to eliminate unwanted vibrations and resonance.

GrooveWasher Solid Walnut Wood Handle Design

The GrooveWasher walnut handle is milled from a single solid piece of midwest premium American Black Walnut, hand finished by wood artisans with waterproof oil polyurethane in Groovewasher's plant in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Feel the woodgrain!

NOTE: Every one of Groovewasher's walnut products is unique. Some may have small surface cracks, splits or knots. This is the character of the wood, not a craftsman's mistake.

G2 Record Cleaning Fluid

The GrooveWasher G2 Record Cleaning Fluid is the result of years of research and testing. The selection of ingredients was guided by the formulations of the D series fluids of the 1970s. G2 Fluid is designed for maximum cleaning effectiveness of the delicate vinyl surface and microgroove, without the need for rinsing. Anti-static action on contact. Honest cleaning to release the honest sound of the recording.

High Tech G2 Fluid Contains:

Surfactants: State of the art detergents dissolve and suspend fingerprints and other oily grime.
Super wetting agent: A specialty chemical that reduces the G2 Fluid's surface tension to reach the bottom of the groove. When you spray G2 Fluid on a record you can see it spread down the grooves.
Emulsifiers: Holds the oils, dirt, mildew and microdust particles in suspension. Then the microfiber fabric cleaning pad wipes and pulls the dirt-filled solution from the record surface.
Laboratory grade, double deionized, carbon filtered & UV treated water: Carrier for the active cleaning ingredients. Eliminates static electric charges on the record's surface on contact.

Replaceable Cleaning Pad Design

The GrooveWasher replaceable microfiber cleaning pad features a super absorbent black terry style split microfiber cover. (Other replacement pad styles are available for separate purchase.) This fabric is effective in removing the contaminants borne in the G2 Fluid from the record's microgroove.

The pad is secured to the walnut handle with low profile hook & loop velcro. This allows the pad to be removed from the walnut handle to be washed or replaced. These cleaning pads are hand made by Groovewasher's textile artists in Kansas City.
