  3. Tim Reaper & Worldwide Epidemic - "Track 3" (6:37)
  4. Tim Reaper & Dev/Null - "Track 4" (5:23)
Review: Following the Globex Corp series launch last year, foundation revivalists 7th Storey continue to encourage the rawest, most authentic roots rave from its family members. Here we're treated to four more untitled damagers that cross the early 90s board with late 2010s production skills... Dwarde takes the lead with some bonafide 93 jungle badness while Reaper hogs the rest of the EP with one brutal hardcore original, a sprightly early 2 Bad Mice style cut with Worldwide Epidemic and a serious b-boy jungle shock out with Dev/Null. This isn't likely to hang around.

Drum And Bass/Jungle
  1. FFF - "The Return" (4:47)
  2. FFF - "Krisp Biscuit" (4:40)
  3. Coco Bryce & FFF - "Double Dragon" (6:14)
  4. Coco Bryce - "The Mother Goddess" (5:38)
Review: Flying Dutchman Coco Bryce raises the jungle flag on the 7th Storey once again and he's rolling deep in decorated company as the longstanding break butcher Triple F appears alongside him. FFF takes the lead with "The Return", a ricochet roller where the swampy sub does all the negotiating. "Krisp Biscuit" backs up the don's 7th Storey debut with similarly stirring results as a cosmic cascade is underlined by classic dub elements. Elsewhere we find both men going toe-to-toe on a crunchy industrial drum hardcore reverse funk jam "Double Dragon" while Coco closes the show with the emotional rush-hurricane "The Mother Goddess". Lighter.

Globex Corp Vol 1

Drum And Bass/Jungle
  1. Track 1 (5:19)
  2. Track 2 (6:10)
  3. Track 3 (6:28)
  4. Track 4 (5:48)
Review: Five years deep into their projects, 7th Storey have worked up such a sound and buzz that it's now impossible to tell whether the productions are excavations or contemporary. Here we know that these are the latter as Reaper and Dwarde have been highly active on labels such as Phat Bubba, Scientific Wax and Green Bay but the foundations are just as deep and authentic. Ranging from the jungle techno hardcore breaks of "Track 1" to the rattling Dread bass sub and amen fizz of "Track 2" via the Horizons-style twinkles of "Track 3" and the out-and-out hardcore hedonism of "Track 4", this is heavy enough to reshuffle 20 jungle councils and still have power to energise a rave of 20,000. Serious gear.
