The wacky artist known as Arttu from Berlin has appeared previously on Clone sub labels Royal Oak and Jack For Daze as well as German minimal house imprint Philpot. Tough and bumping hardware driven house is the order of the day on Cyblo 001. On the A side there is the pummelling funk of "Lil Bob" and in particular the galloping cyclical minimalism of "Hoodies" which sounds like Robert Hood with a preference for overdriven 808s. On the flip "Pressure" has an odd Tropical flavour about it with its bassy broken beat and melody which sounds like Caribbean steel drums. "More Pressure" gets on with it in more straight ahead techno version.
