Bellows is the artist name for the collaborative project of Italian duo Giuseppe Ielasi and Nicola Ratti. The dudes have already released three albums before this current effort for the gutsy Boomkat Editions, and their intricate mixture of dubby electronica is as enthralling as always. Free of any track names, Rustl is an aqueous journey into the depths of bass frequencies, a sort of massage for the cortex. It's not all bass-heavy nonsense, however, and the duo paint a fine picture with their loopy, hypnotic bundles of percussion and dreary-eyed drones. This is the sort of LP you want to leave on, sit back and begin a serious session of heavy meditation and mild paranoia. Quality guaranteed.
