Hot new talent Smooth sees another release on Futurebound's Viper Recordings. Jam-packed with soaring synths, pumping beats and dastardly dancefloor flavours, "Cosmos" kicks things off with a Sub Focus style intro before "Cyber Funk" picks things up with a more Cyantific-esque feel - think robotic SFX, metallic synths, industrial bass and an epic midway breakdown. Then there's the trance-infused dubstep lullaby of "Shifting Sands" with Shaz Sparks on vocal duties, the infectiously upbeat "Brighter Days" with its flurry of vocals, the epic, fuzzy feel-good of "Blinded By The Light" and the Camo & Krooked influenced belter "From Within". Part Two of "Shifting Sands" provides a fantastic finale to this superb EP.
