Apart from one LP on Skrammel Records and their gorgeous debut on the sublime Blackest Ever Black label back in 2014, we haven't heard from the Bremen duo in a good while. Having said that, we're not worried because Jonas Tiljander and Lanchy Orre know how to put together a stunning collection of daring ambient rock and harmonic drone experiments, and this homecoming on BEB is testament to their abilities as both expert musicians and futurists. Wading through glacial guitar riffs - see "On Board" and "Scorched Earth" - lo-fi snippets of masterfully executed lo-fi through tunes like "Cold March" or "The Art Of Non Existence", the only fair way is to describe this album as being way left of field, and providing the listener with some much needed downtempo. It's a listening album, through and through, so stick it on and put your feed up.
