Two trunks are better than one, according to this relatively new edit outfit who hail from parts unknown. Here they showcase their abilities with glittering aplomb. The Intergalatic Funkativity Of The Funkblasters edit of "The Alien Part One" is a deep, spacious early boogie jam with occasional blasts of slick futuristic bass purring amidst the slap bass and warm Rhodes. The Jazz Funk For Dinner version, meanwhile, is much more of a straight up boogie affair that's kind of reminiscent of Average White Band. "Reachin' Out" closes the show with a thumping upbeat disco frenzy where the Moog does all the driving and you do all the dancing!
