Rene Pawlowitz's penchant for an alias strikes gold once more as the German resurfaces under the Evil Fred guise, perhaps his best pseudonym since Shed! Issued on the same H2 label that Pawlowitz jettisoned last year's Zigg Gonzales 12", Get On finds our Fred in suitably dancefloor slaying mode with a title cut that seems to pair classic 90s R&S techno with modern Berlin sound design - that vocal hook will slay them! On the flip, "Back Out" justifies the Balearic Rave tag that's been adopted for Pawlowitz's output on this label, with the tough rhythmic dynamism augmented by wonderfully light brushes of piano and chords.
