The artistic rebirth of veteran Perth producer Ewan Jansen gathers pace. Following his return to action last year, Jansen has delivered fine EPs on Hardworksoftdrink, Going Good and Inner Balance. Here he pops up on Adelaide Soundworks with a bumper selection of deep, woozy, spacey and melodious house cuts. There's naturally much to admire, from the Motor City-influenced analogue richness of "Dispersion", to the sparkly, pitched-down bliss of "Redwood", and the ambient jazz informed closer, "Shines Of Chrome". Also impressive is "Been There Lone Cat", a jazz-funk/broken beat fusion track reminiscent of recent Dego and Kyle Hall cuts.
