Gooiland Elektro and Enfant Terrible team up to deliver Bas Welling's third Former Descent EP in two years! Welling's sound cannot be pinned down to one genre, that's for sure. Mixing up electro, breaks and house like no tomorrow, Former Descent is simply a product of Holland's rich rave dynasty. "Right Between Those Eyes" takes an electro bassline and slaps down a hard, militant 4/4 beat, while "Tough Love International" slows the ruckus down to a deeper, more pensive electro number. Flipping over to the B-side, "Futile Struggle" is possibly the most hummable of the four thanks to its instantly gripping bassline and old-school flavour, whereas "All-in & Losing The Game" heads over to the hardcore side where Former Descent proceeds to slam down a potent beat groove followed by one mean low-end. Tip!
