Having already graced the likes of Derivat and Neostrictly in his time, Berlin-based Romanian Inner now makes the move to the fledgling Shadow Hide You imprint to weave some plush and immersive minimal rhythms in the fruitful broken beat style that has taken hold in recent times. On the A side "Rose Tzweig" unfurls around a subtle murmur of melodic content while the intricate drum set twists around in a cyclical formation for maximum hypnotic effect. Flip the record over and "Story Of Franck" is dealing in a more pronounced beat which naturally keeps things stripped down while still finding time to work a brooding low-end pulse into the mix.
