Intergalactic Gary is no stranger to production, having released a swathe of Italo-influenced EPs as part of the Parallax Corporation. Even so, this collaboration with little-known Greek producer Pasiphae is something of a rarity, given that the bearded Dutchman's most last studio work slipped out some 15 years ago. The EP's four tracks were recorded in The Hague, and happily combine elements of cold-wave, IDM, electro, and moody but typically spacey techno. The quality threshold is refreshingly high throughout, with the two contrasting versions of flipside cut "Second Term" - and in particular the deep and atmospheric 'Alternate' mix - being our picks.
