Waikiki Part 2 vinyl

If you wind back the clocks to 2008, you'll see that Jozif's musical career has been steadily growing in the right direction. With releases on Fear Of Flying, Vitalik and Wolf + Lamb, among others, we can safely say that Jozif Goodwin makes pretty darn good house music. As of late, he's been putting out his grooves on Los Angeles' Culprit label and he herein returns to the imprint for the second instalment of the Waikiki series. You have the deep and ethereal goodness of "Soonar" and the funky robotics of "Rondevouz" - an instantly hummable pseudo-pop cut. Over on the flip, the former is first remixed by Hanfry Martinez into a more minimal sort of number, and then by Eric Volta who decides to go all out and head-first into the ether thanks to a broken arrangement complete with Villalobian clicks and bleeps. Wonderful stuff, honestly.
