No matter what the title says, there's not much noodling going on here. Both "Los Pollos Hermanos" and "Fish Fingers & Custard" are dense, rolling rhythms that provide the backdrop for breathy vocals and filtered breakdowns - and make for ideal DJ tools. However, Drastic also shows that he has a musical side and the title track sees him intertwine deep chords and dreamy filters with his dense, DJ-friendly grooves. Martin Buttrich's version also delivers the unexpected, with a slap bass and building acid lines ensuring that the tribal beats don't veer into anonymous territory .
