Central Processing Unit are definitely a label to keep tabs on right now. Crafting limited release runs of 250 with binary catalogue numbers, they conjure up the spirit of early Warp both spiritually and sonically. Bubbling with a fusion of vibes that's somewhere between classic Detroit, Kraftwerk and Radioactiveman, Dutch groover Fah plunders the past and brings it kicking and screaming into the future. Highlights come in the church-like anthemia of the title track and the softer, early Orbitalesque minor chords and tones of "Casting The Rod".
