It was about time that a new Visionquest EP came out, but seeing as these dudes are just so busy gigging week in and week out we can forgive them! Ryan Crosson, Seth Troxler and Lee Curtis' label has made waves since their first release about three years ago and the trio are never shy of a good tech bump. This time it's Crosson himself who delivers three club cuts: "Cadets In Heat" starts the festivities in a deep and sleek sci-fi mode complete with starry pads and a psychedelic feel, title track "On The Rise" is a bumpy and percussion-centred house affair, while "D!!" breaks things down and enters an unmistakable electro mood in what is certainly the odd one out but also the absolute winner of the lot. Quality guaranteed.
