This release is the first Terranova material in over five years, but it sounds fresh, which bodes well for Hotel Armour, the Berlin duo's forthcoming Kompakt released new album. Terranova bring an understated yet assured approach to their productions and the title track is no exception. Over a low-slung, two-note Italo bassline and rolling Chicago drums, a forlorn singer reiterates the need for him to go out. Coupled with epic synth lines, it makes for exactly the kind of bittersweet techno pop that Kompakt specialises in. "Take My Hand" is a different proposition; not radically dissimilar to Workshop's take on house music, the dubbed out drums and thumb-clicking percussion are the ideal accompaniment to Khan's introspective vocals.
