Ever-prolific duo Octane & DLR join forces with South London's Survival for the first track of this split single - a rough, rowdy riddim entitled "The Others". Here the production trio pair a gentle, breathy, ethereal vocal with pummelling b-line, deftly placed, pattering drums and exquisitely clinking SFX. The rolling subs below add further weight to this monster - you're in for a treat bass heads! Then it's over to Arkaik for "Gumshoe" - this one's a lot deeper with grinding bass snaking around rippling synthlines and spaced out atmospherics taking over in the breakdown. Great stuff here from Dispatch.
