At the tail end of 2016, the Steve Strange Collective released a fine 'best of' compilation, which gathered together the hits and must-have songs from the singer's lengthy Visage collaboration with Rusty Egan. This follow-up takes a different tack, showcasing the best 12" mixes and extended versions. Given that early Visage singles all boasted superb 12" reworks - think "Visage", "Tar", "Mind of a Toy" and, most famously, "Fade To Grey" - this is a very good thing indeed. The compilation also includes lesser-known later cuts from the tail end of Strange's life, including "Frequency 7" and "Hidden Sign", which offered an updated version of Visage's original new romantic template.
