In 2009, Akai Professional collaborated with the creators of Ableton Live, a powerful music performance and production software environment, and introduced the original Ableton Performance ControlleriAPC40. The instrument raised the standards of controller design, revolutionized hardware and software integration, and proved to be an essential performance tool for Ableton Live users everywhere. Now, after incorporating five years of user feedback into their development, Akai Professional builds upon this original partnership by introducing three new APCs - APC40 mkII, APC Key 25, and APC mini.
Designed for the performing musician or the conventional composer, APC Key 25 is the first Ableton Live controller from Akai Professional that is equipped with a high-performance keyboard. Uniting the power of a clip-launching panel with a keyboard interface, APC Key 25 couples real-time control of Ableton Live with traditional composition tools: create melodies, compose bass lines, and play chords with 25 synth-action mini keys. Plus, dedicated buttons for Octave Up, Octave Down, and Sustain expand the expressive capabilities of the keyboard, enabling you to tap into the full melodic range and perform with classic piano-style sustain.
APC Key 25 features a 5x8 multicolor clip-launching grid that's built for dexterous exploration: launch clips and create or perform your song from the ground up using 40 responsive triggers. Tri-color lighting provides visual feedback and displays three clip statuses - loaded, playing, and recording - so you can intelligently perform without looking at your computer. Plus, you can use the Shift button and directional arrows to manipulate the scope of the 5x8 grid.
APC Key 25 comes equipped with eight control knobs that are laid out next to the clip-launching grid for easy tweaking. Users can change knob functionality with the dedicated buttons for volume, pan, sends, and device control: fade clips in and out of the mix; pan instruments to the left, right, or center; raise the level of reverb or other effects to create fluid transitions; open and close filters for lush sweeps; and much more. Additionally, each knob is completely assignable for flexible mixing and mapping options.
APC Key 25 comes pre-mapped to Live for an instant performance and production setup. When APC Key 25 is plugged into your computer, its hardware controls correspond 1 to 1 with Ableton Live's interface - no additional configuring is required. For APC veterans, all of APC Key 25's controls can be re-assigned on the fly for customized setups that change with your performance or production style. Plus, APC Key 25 can also be used as a general MIDI controller to manipulate other software applications such as virtual instruments, plugins, and DAWs.
For maximum portability, APC Key 25 is powered over USB and supports plug-and-play connectivity; no power adapter or drivers needed. APC Key 25 also offers a smaller footprint than its APC counterparts, enabling musicians to use APC Key 25 alongside effects controllers and other APCs.
APC Key 25 comes packed with a version of Ableton Live, two high-definition virtual synthesizers, and professional samples and loops for immediate out-of-the-box music creation. Ableton Live Lite enables musicians and producers to spontaneously compose, record, remix, improvise, and edit musical ideas in a fluid audio/MIDI environment. Hybrid 3, by AIR Music Tech, is a high-definition synthesizer for electronic musicians, DJs, sound designers, and music producers who love to get their hands dirty. Create anything from fat, retro synth sounds to edgy, modern leads and everything in between. SONiVOX Twist is a spectral morphing synthesis virtual instrument. Comprised of a dynamic interface, an advanced pattern generator, and onboard effects, Twist lets you create serious sounds using simple controls. Toolroom Records artist launch packs bring you the coveted sounds of electronic music with a premium collection of sample packs, produced exclusively for Akai Professional. Produce, compose, and remix with professional sounds curated by the world's premier electronic music label.
The ARP Odyssey was an analog synthesizer originally produced in 1972 by the American manufacturer ARP Instruments, Inc. that quickly garnered a faithful following among musicians. Well respected for its high value, ease to play and portability, the ARP Odyssey had undergone several improvements during its history and continued to be a long-seller until manufacturing stopped in 1981 due to economic hardships and the digital surge. Loved by a wide range of musicians as a historical classic, its sound can be heard on numerous classic songs.
Now in 2015, KORG has brought back the ARP Odyssey for today. With the advisory assistance of David Friend, the co-founder of ARP Instruments, KORG has completely reproduced the original circuitry for artists looking to recreate classic sounds and explore new ones. Together the engineers at KORG and Arp were able to nail the sound and feel of the original. Every detail has been carefully considered to stay true to the quality of the original, down to the sophisticated semi-hard case.
The legendary ARP sound is loved to this day. Long stopped, the wheels of history have again begun to move.
The original ARP Odyssey was a 2VCO duo-phonic instrument. Its most distinctive feature was its sharp, penetrating sound and its rich range of tonal variation. With a variety of functions and modulation possibilities provided by oscillator sync, sample & hold, pulse width modulation, high-pass filter, two types of envelope generator, and pitch bend using the PPC, it was able to create a versatile range of sounds.
The ARP Odyssey reproduces the sounds of these components at the circuit level. Under the supervision of David Friend, parts were carefully selected and every detail was adjusted to replicate the original unit's distinctive synthesis.
Broadly speaking, there were three versions of the original ARP Odyssey, divided by the date of production, with the major difference being the filter circuit. The ARP Odyssey provides all three of these different filter circuits, and allows you to select one of them with a single switch.
TYPE I (Rev1) is a 12 dB/Oct circuit that produces a sharp, punchy sound. TYPE II (Rev2) is a 24 dB/Oct filter with great-sounding lows. TYPE III (Rev3) maintains excellent stability even when resonance is raised. These distinctive filters have been reproduced just as they originally were.
On the original ARP Odyssey, the behavior of portamento when using the transpose function differed between Rev1 and Rev2/3. The ARP Odyssey reproduces both of these behaviors and lets you select the desired one with a switch.
The ARP Odyssey has been downsized to 86% of the original ARP Odyssey. Carefully selected parts are used in the familiar slider section, providing an operating feel that's even smoother than the original. The keyboard uses a 37-note slim keyboard that features lighter weight and excellent playability. While making the instrument more compact and easier to use, we have also paid attention to ensuring that the mini-keyboard is uncompromisingly "playable." Although the keyboard has 37 keys, the transpose function lets it cover a broad range of seven octaves.
In order to deliver a more powerful analog sound, a DRIVE switch is provided as a new function. Turning this switch on makes the VCA distort, generating a rough and raw sound.
The connectors provided on the original ARP Odyssey differed by production date, but based on Rev3 of the original, the ARP Odyssey brings the specifications up to a modern standard. In addition to a MIDI IN connector and USB-MIDI port, we've added a headphone jack with adjustable volume (*). The XLR output jacks which had been unbalanced have been changed to noise-resistant balanced outputs.
Quarter-inch and mini-size patch cables are included. If you connect a patch cable from the newly added headphone jack to the external audio input jack, you can produce a powerful sound by applying self-feedback. If you connect the GATE OUT jack to the TRIG IN jack, the EG won't be retriggered, allowing you to play legato.
A dedicated semi-hard case that's ideal for storage and transportation is included. It sports the classical ARP logo, and has a sophisticated finish in a black tone. The corrugated shell structure ensures excellent impact resistance, and internal cushioning and pocket for small items is also provided.
There are also 3 jumpers on the back side which can be used to normalize inputs A to D, B to E and C to F. This is useful if you would like to use the abc mix as a 3 channel stereo mixer (using both outputs and having separate volume control for left and right channel).
Quad line output & headphones amp.
4 high quality line outputs for your modular in compact format. With line level clipping indication is handy for both recording and live. Headphone output can be quickly switched to listen to one of the stereo channels. It is also great for jamming because you can separately create a sound on your headphones and then flip a switch to mix it into the final mix directly with this module.
It has unique digital lo-fi sound and it can be melodic as well as very noisy and drony, soft or harsh. It is designed to be fun on its own but it is most powerful when combined with other modular gear.
Kastle is an open source DIY project which runs on two Attiny 85 chips that can be reprogrammed with an Arduino (Google: "programming Attiny 85 with Arduino"). One chip is dedicated to sound generation while the other handles modulation. Several firmwares for the Attiny chips are available.
The Synth version combines complex oscillator and LFO with stepped waveform generator.
The oscillator section has 3 sound parameters pitch, timbre and waveshape - all under voltage control and with 3 different synthesis modes. It has a main output and a square wave output. Both can be used independently or combined. The 3 synthesis modes are phase distortion, phase modulation (also known as FM) and track & hold modulation. Each mode utilizes two oscillators. The Pitch controls the main oscillator, the Timbre sets the pitch of the modulating oscillator and the waveshape depends on the synthesis mode. The waveshape also controls the pulse width of the square wave output from the main oscillator.
The voltage controllable LFO has a triangle and square output and a reset input. The stepped waveform generator is inspired by the Rungler circuit by Rob Hordijk. It can produce 8 different voltages either in random order or in 8 or 16 step looping patterns depending on how the BIT IN is patched.
What is in the box:
- Kastle synth
- 10 patch cables
- Batteries not included
There is also a CRUNCH switch which activates a special mosfet lo-fi VCA circuit inspired by designs of Standa Filip. This adds a slight crunchy character which changes with the decay of the envelope.
A typical application of Skis is to take two signals (noises for example) and generate drum sounds with adjustable DECAY from them with a TRIGGER signal. However, you can also use the two VCAs and two DECAY envelopes independently.
Condenser microphones are the ideal choice for capturing vocals and acoustic instruments. They're the primary type of microphone used in recording studios and radio stations. They are capable of capturing much more detail than dynamic microphones because of their wider, flatter frequency response. Another difference between condenser and dynamic mics is they contain active circuitry that requires phantom power (+48V DC) for operation. You can power them from any phantom power equipped Behringer XENYX mixer, plus enjoy the benefits of our state-of-the-art XENYX mic preamps.
The B-1 is an affordable, high-quality way to put this essential studio tool to work for you. Thanks to its 1.0" capsule, it captures sound with incredible realism and sensitivity. It boasts a wide frequency response from 20Hz to 20 kHz, enhanced by a pronounced presence boost. With its excellent transducer and gold-plated XLR output, the B-1 truly delivers on the promise of noise-free transmission. The B-1 also gives you a switchable -10dB attenuator to capture high-volume signal sources without distorting, as well as a low-cut filter to eliminate infrasonics caused by floor rumble and other turbulence.
The B-1 is built to be your go-to condenser mic for years to come. Its tough, nickel-plated brass body can withstand all the rigors of bleary-eyed late-night recording marathons. And with its foam-padded, aluminum carrying case, it travels in safety and style. We also included a heavy-duty suspension mount and windscreen.
This condenser mic is an excellent choice for live and studio applications, and it's available at a price that will leave you with enough cash left over to secure other recording essentials.
Ultragraph pro FBQ6200HD:
Professional audio engineers have known for decades that a good EQ makes all the difference in how a performance is perceived. Although multi-band graphic equalizers have been around for a long time, they have changed very little... until now! The ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ6200HD takes the graphic equalizer into the realm of high-definition audio, providing robust features and our proprietary FBQ Feedback Detection System - at a price that makes them a must-have for anyone who records or operates a live sound system.
How Does Equalization Work?
Imagine the audio frequency range as a very wide highway with lots of "lanes". Each of these lanes represents a specific frequency band.
The lanes on the left side contain the really low frequency content, mainly bass, bass vocals, and the kick and tom drums
The middle lanes make up the fundamental zone of most musical instruments and the male and female vocals
The right-hand lanes have all the high-frequency stuff, such as snare drums, cymbals, higher pitched percussion instruments and the content that adds sizzle to the mix
FBQ - Totally Feedback-Free
For more than 20 years, BEHRINGER has designed and manufactured some of the most successful FBQ Feedback Elimination processors. Now you can own and enjoy the benefits of this technology, as we have integrated the revolutionary FBQ Feedback Detection System into this product, so your sound system is completely feedback-free, allowing you to focus on your performance. Utilizing an ultra-fast feedback detection system, this ingenious circuitry helps you recognize and tame feedback frequencies immediately. When feedback is sensed in a specific frequency range, the LED on the associated EQ fader illuminates, showing you at a glance which fader to lower to overcome the feedback. That simple!
Ultra-Low Noise Operation
The high-definition FBQ6200HD provides superb, ultra-low noise performance thanks to top-notch German engineering, and the use of highest-quality components. Industry-leading 4580 dual operational amplifiers are employed throughout for the utmost signal integrity across the entire audio spectrum. With 31-bands of smooth and precise equalization per channel, the stereo FBQ6200HD adds the finishing professional touch to your recordings and live shows.
Special Tools for Low and High Frequencies
The low-frequency sound range requires special attention. That's why the FBQ6200HD features ultra-precise, variable High- and Low-Cut filters on each channel, with a sweepable frequency that helps remove non-essential bass content, such as floor rumble, room resonance and electrical hum, etc., which really uses up your power amp's headroom. This added high-precision control gives the FBQ6200HD the power to accurately fine-tune your system's overall sound, creating crystal clear and dynamic output - with incredibly tight and punchy bottom-end!
Built in Crossover
Speaking of special low-frequency tools, the FBQ6200HD also has a dedicated subwoofer output with an adjustable (30 - 200 Hz) cut-off frequency. Balanced XLR Outs are provided so you can connect to power amps or directly to your active subwoofers, without any additional hardware. Just another example of how BEHRINGER saves you money.
Stereo or Double-Duty?
The FBQ6200HD is designed to improve your sound from every angle: it's a great stereo Front Of House (FOH) equalizer; or, you could use one side for mono FOH, while the other side EQs your monitors - which is where you need the maximum feedback control.
FBQ6200HD - Much More Than Just a Great EQ
Sure it's an incredible high-definition graphic equalizer, but the FBQ6200HD has even more features, such as switchable limiters on each channel with separate Threshold controls, long-throw 45 mm frequency faders for added precision, and a built-in Pink Noise generator that enables the FBQ6200HD to function as a highly-accurate audio spectrum analyser.
Superb Audio, Sound Value
When you want to bring out the very best from your sound system or your performance, in the studio or at your next live gig - put your trust in the ULTRAGRAPH PRO FBQ6200HD. We dare you to compare it to the competition. Once you do, you'll choose BEHRINGER again and again for both audio quality and value.
The Behringer GI100 works like a standard DI box. You can use it to tap into your amplifier's speaker outputs, even high powered rigs with ratings of up to 3,000 Watts. Or, just plug your guitar directly into the GI100, switch on the realistic 4x12 cabinet simulation designed by renowned engineer Juergen Rath, and you've got rock royalty sized tone in a package the size of a cheeseburger! You may never mic your speakers again!
The DI100 sounds amazing, and it comes equipped to meet the most common needs of gigging and recording, as well as the travel in between. There's a ground lift switch that eliminates typical ground loop problems, and when phantom power is connected, this DI box automatically shuts off the internal battery. The DI100 is housed in cool looking red aluminum and features stackable, oversized rubber corners.
The DI100 goes way beyond the typical abilities of a DI box to give you the sound and performance you'd expect from a super charged vintage half stack, plus enough power to have your audience wondering where you hid the amp. Introduce your axe to the guitar loving DI100.
With its ultra high gain circuitry, the HM300 gives you rude and rowdy distortion for the fiercest rhythm chops and searing leads, with virtually endless sustain.
Its dedicated Distortion, low, high and level controls allow you to sculpt your own trademark metal tone, from deep and brooding to crisp and furious. A status LED tells you when this beast is activated, and a top quality on/off switch maintains incredible signal integrity in bypass mode.
You can power the HM300 with either a 9 V battery or a PSU-SB DC power supply (not included).
The MIC100 is perfect for studio and live applications. The balanced 1/4" TRS and gold plated XLR inputs and outputs give you maximum flexibility in either scenario. It derives its personality from a hand selected 12AX7 tube with UTC technology for superior tube character and low noise operation. The MIC100 is great for eliminating the "dull" sound of standard digital recorders and sound cards. And thanks to onboard +48V phantom power and 20dB pad, it can also add warmth to condenser microphones. When used as a high end DI box, you get outstanding signal integrity.
Two cool vintage style knobs control gain and output. There's also a switch for phase reverse and a limiter to prevent overloading the MIC100. An 8 segment LED meter provides accurate monitoring of output levels.
The MIC100 gives you the sound quality of a vintage tube preamp at a mere fraction of what a true relic of the 1960s would cost. At a price this low, you owe it to yourself to find out where the MIC100's real tube tone can take your sound.
The Behringer Xenyx Q802USB Mixer stands at the top of it's class. Armed with premium microphone preamps and robust feature sets typically reserved for more expensive consoles, next generation Xenyx Q802USB mixer can handle your live gigs as well as provide the state of the art tools to make stunning, professional quality recordings.
The 8 input, 2 bus Xenyx Q802USB has two phantom powered Xenyx mic preamps, making it possible to use up to two dynamic and/or studio grade condenser mics. Onboard 3-band British EQ makes it easy to fine tune any input signal and is available on both the mic and stereo channels. Another feature exclusive to the Q802USB is an FX send control per channel, allowing you to use an external effects processor to add the finishing touch to your performance or recording. RCA CD/Tape I/O comes standard on all Xenyx mixers.
Ask professional sound engineers what their favorite piece of external processing gear is and the response will be virtually unanimous "dynamic compression". This limits the dynamic range of a signal, lowering the level of loud sounds and turning up softer sounds to achieve sonic balance. But applying compression is a delicate art that many novice, and even intermediate sound techs have difficulty mastering. Our "one knob" compression is available on all mono channels and is easy to operate, even for entry level users. Now you can easily dial in the perfect amount of compression for instruments and vocals, creating powerful mixes with punch and clarity.
The state of the art Xenyx mic preamps are a tremendous step in the evolution of audio technology and they can easily hold their own, even when compared to expensive, boutique style mic preamps. Xenyx preamps offer a staggering 130 dB of dynamic range with a bandwidth that extends from below 10Hz to well above 200KHz. As a result, Xenyx mixers provide such transparent, crystal clear performance that you just might think someone upgraded your microphones while you weren't looking.
The British consoles of the '60s and '70s changed the sound of rock and roll. These legendary mixing desks soon became the envy of engineers and producers all over the world. The channel EQ on our Xenyx mixers is based on that very same circuitry, allowing you to process signals with incredible warmth and detailed musical character. Even when applied generously, these equalizers exhibit sweet forgiveness and superb audio quality.
There was a time when the recording process called for lots of specialised gear, which meant the average musician had to buy time at a recording studio, which can be expensive! But modern technology has put personal recording well within the reach of virtually anyone with access to a computer. Thanks to the built in, bi-directional stereo USB audio interface, you can connect directly to your PC or Mac computer via a single USB cable. Now any signal source connected to the mixer can be recorded straight to your hard drive. Which brings us to software...
Because you'll want to take full advantage of your Xenyx Q Series mixers' recording and podcasting potential, Behringer have put together a massive software download (at www.behringer.com) that includes Audacity, Podifier, Juice, Podnova and Golden Ear. You're ready to go live on your PC or Mac right out of the box! You also get more than 100 virtual instruments and 50 FX plugins, turning your computer into a complete home based or mobile recording studio.
No matter what your audio mixing needs are, Behringer Q802USB Mixer provides the performance and features to take your talent to the next level, at a price that's sure to amaze you. try it today!
When it comes time to let your creative juices flow, STUDIO 50USB delivers studio-grade performance giving you the power to dial-in your perfect sound. Every detail of your mix comes through in all its pristine clarity, with the kind of dynamics and impact that can only come from a high-resolution studio monitor system.
Set of 2 (Master and Slave).
Dynamic mics have several advantages that make them ideal for live vocal applications and for recording amplified instruments. They're robust, resistant to moisture and can achieve high gain before feedback. The XM8500's cardioid pickup pattern captures the source signal, such as a guitar amplifier or vocalist, while shunning off-axis sound.
The XM8500 provides an amazing frequency response of 50Hz to 15 kHz and includes a 2-stage pop filter to minimize breath and pop noises. And with its tough metal construction and sturdy steel windscreen, you can count on it to come through after countless gigs and studio applications. We've even included a rugged hard case with a mic clip and stand adapter.
Designed primarily for venues and stage applications, these models offer a compact and comprehensive solution for mobile PA, bars and special events.
Recordings are smooth, free from circuit noise and distortion with a wide frequency range close to that of condenser microphones. The bi-directional polar pattern can be used to combine direct and reflected sound to produce a more natural response.
The Wah toggle switch selects between the classic wah tones of the Crying Tone and the dual formant filter of the Talking Pedal, which creates vowel-like sounds. The Bottom control blends back in clean bass frequencies to beef up the low-end and make the wah sound more bass-friendly. The Volume control sets the master output level.
The Fuzz section features a three position toggle switch for Off, Pre-wah, and Post-wah settings. The Drive and Tone controls set the amount and overall brightness of the fuzz respectively. Bias controls the amount of bias voltage supplied to one of the transistors in the fuzz circuit and can create a full, saturated tone or a sputtering, gated fuzz sound.
The Cock Fight Plus comes equipped with a 9V battery or can be powered by an optional 9-volt AC adapter.

This is perfect when you want to use your iPad or Laptop as your effects pedalboard, your amp's front end or complete tone rig in a live setting. The "Thru" setting sends your guitar's dry, unprocessed signal directly to the out jack, allowing you to use a floor-based or rack tuner, a pedalboard or even an additional full-on stage rig. Plus as an added performance feature, iRig HD 2 has an integrated microphone stand "clip" and Velcro strap so you can secure it to a mic stand on stage for live performance.
Integrated headphone out, iPhone 7 ready
- If you're contemplating upgrading to the latest and greatest iPhone, then listen up. iRig HD 2 sports a new 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack with preamp and level control integrated into the unit so you can monitor your recording and playing... even if your device doesn't feature a headphone jack. Pretty smart. But this is no ordinary standard "headphone" jack - it features a high-resolution headphone preamp that optimizes the audio signal for full range playback and monitoring. You can also use this output to send a stereo signal out to a mixing console or a pair of powered monitors like iLoud Micro Monitor.
- 6 led linear sliders for input attenuation control (leds can be easily replaced with other colors, they just slide out).
- Jumpers to select pseudo log curve (instead of linear)
- All muting realised via vcas opening/closing
- 6 audio/cv inputs
- 6 mute/function inputs (depends on mode)
- 6 three way bus routing switches.
- 3 audio/cv bus outputs
- 2 linear master output level controls.
- 6 control buttons + status led
- Header to normal hexvca output to the 6 inputs (same as mutagen).
This input is also very useful when coordinated with a CV recorder. You can record the modulation from the X, Y outputs and then turn the joystick off (see switch at top left) and playback the modulation into the X and Y input.
This will allow you to recreate a complex quad panning or vector mixing jam.
REVERSIBLE! The module will ship with a second faceplate that is designed to mounted upside down (so joystick is at the bottom) and there are jumpers on the back of the module so you can coordinate the reversed orientation of the joystick. This is to facilitate use in a skiff.
This module was primarily designed as an interesting tool to be used with sequencers. you can derive complex rhythmic sequences from basic sparse sources (e.g. from a simple gate sequence or clock). by adding vc control of the logic types via some kind of cv source like a triggered envelope, lfo or sequencer you produce even more complex results.
Plog can also be used in many other creative applications including making interesting timbres and for self generating patches.
The electribe has been reborn including KORG's latest technology distilled from popular products such as the KingKORG, kaossilator, kaoss pad, and taktile. The 200 preset patterns cover House and Techno as well as cutting-edge dance music genres such as Trap and EDM. Another major evolution of the new electribe is support for polyphonic playback, which is indispensable for musical styles that involve complex chord progressions such as House music.
Using the 16 pads placed on the front of the unit, you can create patterns intuitively while actually hearing and seeing the sounds. You can use the pads as a keyboard to realtime-record phrases, and also perform step recording by entering the pitch and rhythmic value one note at a time. The patterns you create can be used in alternate forms as you perform by taking advantage of the "step jump" feature inherited from the volca series, or by changing the "last step" to vary the length of each part.
There's also a "motion sequence" function that lets you record knob and button operations and use them in the pattern that you create. Either drums or synths can now be assigned to each of the 16 parts (i.e., the 16 pads). For example you could create complex rhythms by assigning drums to all of the 16 parts.
Familiar from the kaossilator is the "touch scale" function that lets anyone perform without wrong notes, just by moving a finger across the touch pad. The trigger pads that were popular on the taktile are also provided, making it easy for anyone to create phrases intuitively. The trigger pads can also be used for drum input. Settings allow you to switch velocity on/off.
For the electribe, KORG designed a synth engine that gives you the maximum sound-creating freedom and the fastest sound production. The 409 oscillator waveforms include analog modeling and PCM. The analog modeling synth engine provides a broad variety ranging from simple basic waveforms to complex combinations such as dual, unison, sync, ring modulation, and cross modulation. The PCM sound engine provides mainly rhythm sounds, but also covers multisamples for keyboard. (collaborations with Sample Magic, Loopmasters, Prime Loops are included)
The filters at the heart of the sound-shaping capabilities are inherited directly from the KingKORG, and they use filter algorithms that simulate standard synthesizers so that you can get "the sound" which was used in famous songs, just by selecting the appropriate filter type.
You can also apply filters to drums to create rhythm tracks that are rich in tonal variation. Modulation can make sound-creation more complicated, but we've made it easy by condensing it down to three parameters: simply select a template that specifies an effect and its target, and then adjust the speed and depth of the effect to suit your taste.
The new electribe provides effects such as compression and overdrive for each part, giving you uncompromising control over the nuances of individual sounds that differ subtly between genres. The groove function can be specified for each part, letting you apply a groove to your phrase simply by selecting a template.
The master effects can be controlled from the touch pad just like on the kaoss pad, and they include not only spatial-type effects that shape the overall acoustics but they also include effects that apply aggressively musical transformations such as the "Vinyl Break" effect inherited from the Kaoss pad series, and the newly developed "Seq Reverse" and "Odd Stepper" that change the playback order of the sequencer. These are also extremely effective for live performance. Insert effects can be assigned for individual parts, opening up even more complex sound-design possibilities. There's also a "pattern set" function which lets you switch patterns by pressing trigger pads, and an "event recording" function that records that performance. In addition to MIDI IN/OUT, "Sync IN/OUT" is also provided, allowing synchronized performances with the volca series, monotribe, or MS-20 mini. The unit can run on six AA batteries, so you can easily take it along with you and perform anywhere, providing on-the-go inspiration your musical ideas.
A synthesizer that lets you perform and create multi layered music in any style, with just the touch of a finger.

The circuit was redesigned with envelope controls and built into small size pedal.
It has very fast tracking and accuracy rarely found on auto wahs/envelope filters. With the four knobs you can have total control of the effect.
SWBAW is designed for bass and you can fine-tune the pedal to suit your instrument, your playing style and your taste of tone.
The pedal has a unique decay control for the filter frequency fall speed. You can set it to be fast for wah effects on every note, or slower for a more traditional auto wah sound.
SWBAW is hand made in Finland using only premium components, to give years of trouble free operation with superb musical tone.
SENSITIVITY - Sets the filter trigger level, tune this carefully to fit you /bass output and your playing touch. You can further change the sensitivity from your guitar volume knob while playing.
BIAS - Controls the filter resonance frequency. When Sensitivity is turned fully off the Bias can be used as a sweepable filter.
RESONANCE - Controls the sharpness or Q-factor of the filter.
DECAY - Controls how fast the filter frequency falls back to resting point (that is set with the Bias control). This can be set fast (CW) so you get the wah effect on every note or slow for a more traditional auto wah sound.
PLAYING - Take time to get used to the controls and as this is a voltage control filter it will react to your playing touch. The envelope control circuit is carefully designed to follow the dynamics of bass and it might take some time to master the Auto Wah playing technics. Try also adjusting guitar volume between 8 and 10 to further expand use.
You can dial in your modulation exactly how you want it with:
Level - Attenuverter, positive attenuator or inverted attenuator.
Offset - Add a stable DC offset (positive or negative) to make sure the modulation is in exactly the range you need it.
Glide - Slew your signal to smooth it out for filter response or portamento.
Works great with 1v/oct sources. The through (->) output is a buffered multiple so you can take your sequencers output and use this module to add a interval on a second oscillator.
"It started life as the SVF design (based on the J. Haible discrete 2040 gain cell) which Scott Stites posted over at electro-music in April. I'd been wanting to work with another filter for a while and this one looked interesting, so I started playing with it. I lopped off the audio input section and grafted on the CP3 mixer (moar transistors!) and that's what you're hearing in this rather short clip. It's definitely interesting! A very thick, rich-sounding filter with a lot of different personalities depending on how hard you drive the inputs."

The module is equipped with threee inputs and each of them has a level control. The fourth potentiometer O is an offset potentiometer, which generates an offset voltage at the output.
Approximately at 13h-position of the input level potentiometer the channel will start to clip and adds a very transistor-specific sound coloration by saturation.
The module is not limited to mixing and saturating audio signals as you might as well shape control voltgages e.g. altering the shape of an envelope or a LFO and the offest control is very handy for CVs as well.
Under the hood it's a unity-gain op amp mixer, with three unipolar inputs and an output which can be switched between uni- and bi-polar operation using a jumper on the board. the inputs use audio-taper pots while the output is linear to facilitate both modes of operation. care has been taken in the selection of the op amps used to ensure low noise, no signal bleed, and as little added 'color' as possible.
Expander for the Synthesis Technology E350 Morphing Terrarium. Offers access to the phase and glitch modes and includes a passive CV attenuator.
This module consists of three basic sections: first is the attenuverter/offset section at the top. each of the 3 independent attenuators is bipolar and will output a static +/-5v dc voltage (offset) with nothing plugged into its input jack. the corresponding led will indicate your signal's strength and polarity. (red = positive.)
Second is the mixer section in the middle. it's set up as a basic unipolar 4-input unity-gain mixer. the sum of channels 1 & 2 can be removed from the main output by inserting a cable into the jack labelled "1+2", allowing you to use this section as two independent 2-input mixers. the output jacks are marked with black square surrounds. this mixer is designed to handle primarily audio and uses the same op-amps as the mix. it'll handle CVS quite happily, but the inputs aren't matched and you may not get good results with critical signals such as pitch cv.
Finally there is the multiples section across the bottom. on the left are two 1->2 buffered multiples and on the right are two 1->3 passive multiples. the input jack for each section is marked with a black circular surround. the arrows on the panel indicate internal connections between sections. with only buffered input a in use you can distribute a signal to as many as 10 different destinations.
Like all Manhattan Analog modules, the MVP is entirely hand-built using panel-mounted metal-shaft pots and is fully protected from reverse-power accidents.
The VCA has a manual gain control (offset) and two independent cv inputs, both with an exponential (audio) response curve. they are configured to take 0-5v cv signals which will open the vca fully to unity gain. cv inputs above +5v are diode-limited, a feature which can be exploited to change the effective curve of an envelope signal similar to a "hold" stage in an ahdsr envelope.
Triggered event types are programmable and include: Note, Control Change, Pitch Bend, Program Change, Start/Stop, System Exclusive
Other functions include: Program Change INC/DEC, Rechannelize, Transpose, Tap Tempo, Note-on Filter
MIDI Echo and Footswitch Toggle parameters are selectable on/off.
The Polarity of the footswitch can be determined automatically on power-up, or programmed to normally-open or normally-closed.
The Footswitch Controller is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages (see FAQs - Programming). This can be done easily with the Processors Programming Tools software. Once programmed, its settings are retained even after power is removed. The Footswitch Controller can be reprogrammed with new settings as often as needed.
The Footswitch Controller is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products (see FAQs - Power and FAQs - LED for more information). A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.
The Quadra Thru is MIDI powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products (see FAQs - Power and FAQs - LED for more information). A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.

The Minitaur is a compact analog bass synthesizer that features a classic one knob per function layout. It is the first instrument in the Taurus family that does not have foot pedals.
The Minitaur has all the growl, snarl and body associated with the Taurus family of bass synthesizers. Moog are really excited to be able to offer this in such a compact package that is both immediately playable as an extremely versatile analog synth and also integrates seamlessly into the world of MIDI and USB control environments, says Cyril Lance, Chief Engineer of Moog Music.
The Taurus Bass Pedals enjoy a nearly 40-year history and have made a seismic impact in the music world since their introduction in the mid-Seventies. The Taurus opened up so many possibilities for me, it also opened up a whole way of looking at what I do, says Geddy Lee, of the multi-platinum band Rush.
In 2009, Moog Music released the Taurus 3 Bass Pedals, a modern reinterpretation of the classic Taurus Bass Pedals. The Taurus 3 is currently used by artists such as The Black Keys, Animal Collective, Jean Michel Jarre, Yes, Weezer, Rush and The Dave Matthews Band.
Since the inception of Moog Music, Bob Moog tested his ideas, instruments and sounds on musicians as a key part of the product development process. In keeping with this tradition, Minitaur has been presented to a broad array of producers, artists and songwriters including Geddy Lee of Rush, techno legend Derrick May, Flying Lotus, Moby, the renowned record producer Nick Raskulinecz as a part of the final product development process. The enthusiastic response from these artists marks the beginning of the next generation in the Taurus Bass Synthesizer line.
