The ASSIMIL8OR is a CV/Gate-controllable sampler with eight independent channels. Each channel is not only its own voice, but also has a separate audio output and a gate/trigger and three CV inputs. Given ever get two sample inputs and main outputs. Thus, Stereo Sampling and playback is possible. Mixed operation of stereo or mono is possible and is limited only by the maximum number of eight channels or parts.

The ASSIMIL8OR works with high-quality 24-bit AD and DA converters. Internally, however, sample and bit rate for lo-fi sound can be lowered, the latter is even CV-controllable. The samples can also be otherwise manipulated in many ways. Thus, the phase of a sample via CV or a different sample can be modulated. Likewise, the loop points can be controlled and the sample can be traversed with CV control (scrubbing), whereby wavetable similar effects could be achieved. The following parameters can be addressed via the gate / trigger and CV inputs:

Samples and presets are stored on an SD card, which is easily accessible plugged into the module front.

Arpeggiate

A pulse input allows the arpeggiator to be driven by external inputs and are allowed to interact with the automated notes to make the pattern more complex. Additional controls allow you to blend different patterns and randomness to easily change from the expected to the surprising.

POLYVOX PF3 double-stereo filter utilizes the classic Soviet filter chip for a unique and iconic filter tone. Two independent 12dB multi-mode filters that can be controlled by a single cutoff knob. Turning the filter into a 24dB filter, when connected in series. When connected in stereo, you can achieve interesting effects by using different modes to each channel. A noise generator is on board pre-filter and can be used separately as a source of white and pink noise. Volume as well as clean and processed signal balance per channel. Can be used as two independent filters or stereo mode.

WARNING: Before using the device, turn it on for 5-7 minutes and let it stand. The control transistor should warm up. So that in SOFT mode there is no feedback when the FREQ knobs are in zero position. If you overdo it. The UD1208 chips used in the filter are very sensitive and are never the same. Therefore you will not mathematically get two identical filters. Which is an advantage when using the unit in stereo.

Notes: Nazca Noodles is a cable brand developed in partnership between Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers and Cre8audio that's purpose is to provide a luxurious patching experience for electronic music creators.

Described by Cre8audio as "Bright and happy to monotonous monochrome," Nazca Noodles will be initially available as 3.5mm TS to 3.5mm TS "eurorack style" patch cables. They are available in six different colours and seven sizes per colour. A total of forty-two cable SKUs are available at launch.

Nazca Noodles were previously sold by Pittsburgh Modular but were discontinued so that they completely revamp the line to dramatically expand the offerings.

Talking about Nazca Noodles, the Pittsburgh team said, "people like these Noodles because of their super slimline jack ends. They are great for tight patch points. Plus, their soft cable jackets make them floppier and easier to work with than your typical patch cable. Before we partnered with Cre8audio, people kept requesting them in multiple colours and sizes. We didn't really have the resources nor did we really want to manage a 42+ product cable line. But for some reason Cre8audio does.... They're pretty weird (and seem to really like these cables)".

Welcome to the world of sound of LYRA-8, the unique organismic analogue synthesizer designed by Vlad Kreimer. "Organismic" means that LYRA uses some principles that lie in the base of living organisms. The way how LYRA's modules interacting between each other and the behaviour of the instrument resembles a live conversation.

LYRA-8 is based on eight generators, which will be referred to as voices. Their design is not like a traditional subtractive synthesis VCO. Instead of having a linear or logarithmic dependency on control voltage, they resemble the tone generators in old electric organs. Hence the use of the term "voices" instead of VCOs. Lyra uses non-linearity a lot, and the voices are constructed in such a way that allows for non-linearity to express itself.

The voices are divided into four pairs (12, 34, 56, 78). All the pairs are divided in two groups, with two pairs in each (1234, 5678), creating tree-like structure.

The voices can function either in an electric organ mode or in an FM synthesis mode with each of the voices and its envelope acting as a separate FM operator. The voice's impact on FM synthesis will decrease along with the decay of its envelope.

The HYPER LFO is a complex low-frequency generator, whose waveform is synthesized from two simple LFOs by summation or multiplication of their frequencies. It also has a sync mode. The LFO can modulate the selected pairs of voices and the MOD DELAY.

The MOD DELAY consists of two lines of delay with cross-feedback and a special architecture that enables resonance between the two lines. Each line's delay time can be individually modulated from various sources, including external ones. The delay has a unique possibility of self-modulation where the output signal modulates the delay sample rate, creating cool effects.

The DISTORTION is last in the chain, after the delay. It enables the delay to also influence the distortion.

For all its experimental character, LYRA is a professional instrument. Its output dynamics and frequency response are balanced and ready for a live performance or studio recording without any additional processing.

Rostock is a component of the Leibniz Binary Subsystem. It is a data pipeline, a FIFO (first in - first out) shift register, or a very short digital delay. The module operates similarly to a BBD delay or an ASR (analogue shift register), except that it is digital. It consists of a chain of memory cells that pass bits from one to another at each clock cycle. The delay length is variable from 1 to 64 stages (with optional looping and scrambling). It works by processing data in the Leibniz bus and must be connected to other Leibniz modules using data ribbon cables at the back. Notes: Zadar is a powerful, four-channel envelope, modulation, and transient generator, in a compact yet very complete, feature-rich package. It is capable of synthesising a vast palette of envelope shapes starting from hundreds of shapes stored in the memory. These starting shapes are not mere wavetables, but flexible vectors that can be stretched (from a fraction of a millisecond to half an hour), flipped, warped, distorted, delayed, shuffled, repeated, and amplitude modulated in real time. Notes: Nazca Noodles is a cable brand developed in partnership between Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers and Cre8audio that's purpose is to provide a luxurious patching experience for electronic music creators.

Described by Cre8audio as "Bright and happy to monotonous monochrome," Nazca Noodles will be initially available as 3.5mm TS to 3.5mm TS "eurorack style" patch cables. They are available in six different colours and seven sizes per colour. A total of forty-two cable SKUs are available at launch.

Nazca Noodles were previously sold by Pittsburgh Modular but were discontinued so that they completely revamp the line to dramatically expand the offerings.

Talking about Nazca Noodles, the Pittsburgh team said, "people like these Noodles because of their super slimline jack ends. They are great for tight patch points. Plus, their soft cable jackets make them floppier and easier to work with than your typical patch cable. Before we partnered with Cre8audio, people kept requesting them in multiple colours and sizes. Notes: 3xMIA is a 6-channel attenuverting mixer/offset/scale/polarizer.

3 blocks of 2-channel attenuverting mixers, using dual concentric pots. Each channel can be switched to mix with the subsequent channel, allowing for 2-2-2, 4-2, 6 mix configurations.

With nothing plugged into an input, an offset is normalled to that channel. The inner knobs control the A inputs, while the outer knobs control the B inputs.

DC coupled, so it can be used for audio, CV, or both at the same time.
