Notes: Focused versatility seems an oxymoron when describing the features that led us to design the Mixwitch.

With only a pinch of mixing, inverting and controlled switching, we brew up a plethora of combinations and uses.

This is voltage processing magic!
The Mixwitch design comes from a frustration with attenuvertors (bipolar attenuators-inverters) whose off (neutral) position is difficult to retrieve, especially in live situations.

We went for a digitally-controlled analog path where polarity inversion would be at the touch of a button. So, the usefulness of attenuating/inverting can be realized by turning the pot down, swiftly pressing the inversion button and reopening the level. The zero level is where you expect it, with the pot full down.

Once we had a clean polarity control, we easily added a mute function offering the benefit of pre- adjusted pot settings ready to be activated at will.

The next step was to bring something extra, useful and creative. There are plenty of analog switches controlled by a clock; but arbitrarily selecting an input with a voltage is less known. Having both control capabilities combined with our specific mixer features creates a unique fusion: welcome to the Mixwitch !

Notes: The Yamaha MG Series of mixers feature a design and construction that will handle the standard wear and tear of the active musician. A state of the art design allows for convection cooling, meaning your power unit will not overheat your unit after continuous use. Separating the power supply from the analog circuitry inside the mixer allows for near silent background noise, allowing for a serious and high quality output sound. As well as this, the knob placement has been put above the chassis of the console, thus not damaging circuitry underneath should the device ever be dropped or mishandled.

The MG06 includes a number of features that make it stand out above the rest of compact mixers on the market. It has phantom power on the first two channel's class A preamps for any condenser microphones as well as a mono/stereo select button for instant control and flexibility. These two channels also include a 2 band EQ and a high pass filter, allowing a lot of frequency control on such a small mixer.

As well as this, two stereo channels for jack devices make up channels 3 through to 6. Outputs are aplenty on the MG06, featuring stereo jack and XLR outputs, as well as a phones output for monitoring purposes.

Notes: NuX Mighty 8BT is a compact guitar amplifier with features that enable it to be more than just a bedroom combo. Powered from the included 12V mains adaptor or optionally from 8 x AA batteries for portable use. The guitar input has clean, overdrive and distortion modes with modulation/delay effects and digital reverb. Settings can be customised for tone and effects and these are stored for each of the 3 modes. Deeper effects editing is provided by the Bluetooth link using the Might app, which is available from Google Play or App Store. A mic input is also included with a dedicated reverb send for vocals. A built-in drum machine is controlled by a simple but intuitive tap tempo/style button and rotary volume control. Kith Ruina's inspiration comes from the world of guitar amps. A drive into an EQ is an extremely common configuration for shaping guitar tone, and we find that it works extremely well for synths as well. A grungy drive into a pristine EQ gives excellent tone control, and with separate ins and outs for the two sections KR can be configured to fit into any patch you throw at it.

Notes: Triplatt is a three-channel active/buffered attenuverter and summing mixer. Each channel has a knob, which can function as a unipolar attenuator or a bipolar attenuverter, depending on the setting of its corresponding two-position polarity switch.

Each input is normalled to a built-in precision +5V DC voltage source. With nothing plugged into the jacks, each knob controls a voltage range of 0 to +5 V or -5 to +5 V depending on the position of the channel polarity switch. Outputs A and B are also capable of a range of 0-10 / -10 to +10 when using the special function switches.

Each output is normalled to mix into the output of the channel below, making it possible to do sub mixes in groups of two or three.

In addition, each channel has a "special function" switch to alter its input voltage in a specific way. Channel A has a 2x voltage multiplier switch, allowing you to double the voltage sent into Channel A. Channel B has a +5V switch, allowing you to add 5V to whatever voltage is sent into Channel B. Channel C has a mute switch, allowing you to completely turn off the signal being sent into Channel C.

The VCA's are designed to provide a good balance between the performance and specification of modern 'on-chip' VCA's and the character and musicality of classic analogue designs.

The OTA core of each VCA is fully discrete - it is built from only resistors, capacitors and transistors - however, the CV conditioning, audio input and output stages are built using high-quality op-amps giving the best balance between musicality, character and performance.

The ADE-50 provides a good signal-to-noise ratio, linearity, attenuation, an output level at unity gain at 5V CV input, minimal CV 'bleed' and minimal output offset/bias.

Notes: Stereo effects processing for Tangible's affordable AE modular system. Offers a total of 15 digital effect programs with CV control over three parameters each. Can run in Eurorack via an optional adaptor frame.

Supplier notes:
The MULTIFX module offers 15 different stereo audio FX programs, a wide variety from common FX like reverb and delay to unique effects like Ring Crusher or Glitch delay. Also a nice shimmer effect is onboard.

Each program has 3 parameters that can be adjusted and additionally be CV-controlled.

With a switch the sample rate can be reduced to half the normal rate, resulting in doubling the effect times (with reverb, delay...) and introducing a nice portion of aliasing.

It is based on the FV-1 DSP chip that is well-known from other FX-modules in the Eurorack world; the MULTIFX module offers the 7 factory programs of the chip plus 8 new and unique ones created by Tangible Waves.

Audio line in/out

Now you can easily connect anything with an audio output to your OP-Z: effects pedals, radios, synths, computers or even your phone. With audio out, you can separate and process individual tracks by routing them to the module output. The line module stereo output can even be used as two mono outputs.

Sync in/out

Tempo Sync other compatible gear to OP-Z so you're on the beat, all the time.

MIDI in/out

Line module allows you to use OP-Z to control other synths with MIDI input by using the OP-Z sequencer with your external equipment. With MIDI in, you can use an external MIDI controller, keyboard or computer to control your OP-Z.

Tempo Sync and trigger sounds on modular synths, like the pocket operator modular, by using Trig out. Trig in allows any track on OP-Z to be triggered by an external signal, such as a drum machine, to single step and advance the sequence.

Tempo Sync your Pocket Operators and other compatible gear and have them follow the tempo of the OP-Z.

Notes: Junction requires a +12V / -12v power supply with a 2x5 pin ribbon cable (included). The red line of the ribbon cable must be aligned with the -12V marking next to the module's power header and on your case's power distribution board. Junction draws 23mA from the +12 rail and 20mA from the -12 rail. Please ensure you have
enough power available before installing.

About Junction

Junction is a compact, 4 channel attenuverter, cascading mixer and multiple designed to fine tune the control voltages in your rack to the perfect range for their destinations. Junction can be used as a source of fixed voltage, offset another voltage, or mix multiple voltages together to create complex and dynamic modulation.

Features

Each channel on Junction has a knob (1) that acts as a manual control for the attenuverter. Center position (12 o clock) is 0V. The first channel input (2) is normalized to +5V when no cable is plugged into it.

A buffered copy of the input signal of the first channel is present on all of the other inputs from from the first (2) to the last (8). This duplication is "cascading" as shown by the arrow graphics on the panel - if a cable is patched into any input, it "breaks" the cascading multiple - all unpatched inputs carry the signal present at the uppermost patched input (or +5V if no inputs are patched). For example, if a signal is patched into the second channel's input (4) the third (6) and fourth (8) channel inputs would carry a copy of the second channel's input instead of the first channel input.

Junction's channels are mixed on the outputs. The output mixer is also "cascading" - when a cable is patched into an output, it carries a mix of it's own output and all unpatched channel outputs above it. For example, if only the last channel output (9) is patched, this output will carry a mix of all of the outputs. Patching the first channel output (3) would remove it from this mix.

Even though Junction's inputs cascade and outputs mix, Junction's output will clip at the Eurorack power rail voltages of +12 and -12V. It is not possible to output a voltage outside of this range, regardless of the signals patched into Junction.
