Review:  The latest single from Mukatsuku is from Australian DJ/Producer Katalyst who was one of the winners at Australian Dance Music Awards in 2002. 'How Bout Us' originally came out as part of the album ''What's Happening ' on Australian label Invada in 2007 before receiving a global CD only release for BBE a year later in 2008 but up till now has never been out as a single in it's own right. The track 'How Bout Us' features vocalist Steve Spacek with an exclusive unreleased instrumental version on the flipside. Killer production with massive string lines and charismatic vocals to ignite your dancefloor. As played by Coldcut,Mr Thing, Skeme Richards , Marcel Vogel,The Herbaliser,DJ Prestige, Boca 45, Smoov,Andre One Of A Kind, DJ Gilla (First Word Records) , Huw72, Dom Servini (Wah Wah 45's), Ben Gibson, etc

Review: Katalyst and Spacek are back together with their Space Invadas project, coming through with their second album to date, Wild World, and their only album in the last 8 years. Back on Australia's Invada label, it's clear that the pair had a real thirst to get back into the studio and construct some of their well-known beat science again, with the opener "Welcome" sounding so polished and smooth alongside Natalie Slade's vocals. 'Broken beat' doesn't really do their style any justice seeing as there's a bit of everything on here but, on the other hand, that is the best way to describe this collection of dance-centric tunes made up largely of...broken beats. There are plenty of diverse sounds and influences on here, too, with a bit of salsa coming through on "Don't Ever Look Back", some futuristic neo-hip-hop on the likes of "Satellite", and even some soothing soul on "Now That I Know". Most of this batboy comes complete with vocal swagger - and that's one of its strongest elements. Recommended.
