  4. Wandervogel - "Amante A Ore" (7:27)
Review: Here's some good time edit gear from a new label named Colpo Grosso. You may have seen some of the cut n' pasters on this record lurking around other nocturnal spots - Coldbeard made a first appearance last year on Daje Funk and now they're on the case with 'Amore', kicking off Colpo Grosso Vol 1 with some bright and brassy party funk. Dirtyelements & Drunkdrivers continue their run from Samosa and Legofunk Records to lay down a heady, heavyweight stew on 'Disc Jockey' with a rhythmic roll that should appeal to the chugging crew. Lego Edit have some fun with 'Ma Che Mina', making a slinky and sophisticated slice of deep house out of their re-edit. Ending on a high note, Wandervogel rounds things off with a classically-informed blast of swooning disco perfection.

Review: Rome's Nicegroove label present their very first vinyl outing, cutting four disparate nu-disco bits from artists in their immediate, glorious orbit. Like the satiated lady depicted on its inner label, we feel instantaneously happy on first listen. Every mood from laid back (Lego Edit's 'Yam') to subdued (Mikeandtess' 'Winp') is covered. Production is only of the utmost quality, with every track retaining a semi-live feel nailing that sweet cross-pollination between disco-soul sugar and instrumental house.

Dancefloor Edits
Cat: LGF 008. Rel: 28 Oct 21
Disco/Nu-Disco
  1. Paul Older - "The Static" (7:47)
  2. Saltywax - "Keep Grooves" (6:08)
  3. PCJ Project - "Manussa" (5:14)
  4. Lego Edit - "Welcome To The Jazz Club" (Lego re-edit) (6:07)
Review: This is another marvellous outing from Legofunk Records featuring four more tracks of well defined dance floor funk. There is a charm and seduction to the big, bustling, restless disco fired loops of Paul Older's 'The Static' which makes way for an equally funk fulled and party starting gem from Saltywax with 'Keep Grooves.' On the flip side, things slow down a little with Pcj Project who opt for a Latin tinged, sax lead charmer on 'Manussa' and then last but not least is some cool jazz chord work and deep house shuffling on Lego Edit's 'Welcome To The Jazz Club.' Nice.
