Review: Catch a body eh? Let's hope it's not a fat one. Oh wait, it is... Very fat indeed. Bulbous, in fact, thanks to its array of obese subs that wriggle and worm beneath the stark, spiked out string stabs, each one overlapping each other with menace. "Banshee" is even fatter again as we're treated to a whole series of basses, each one shouting loudly, eager for our attention as more dagger-like drums heave and weave amidst the dynamic. Purist grime - both of these Bristol bangers are screaming for MCs to do their damage!

Review: It's now five up for the Pearly Whites crew and their self titled series of on going various artist's collections. This one kicks off with the slow and heavy sounds of Deseplate's 'One Day' before the flute laced, jazz-tinged and stoner delights of Boss Mischief's 'Ice Cold.' There are more fuel good and heady sounds with lush flues from Invader Spade then Drone gets more dark and gritty on 'Lil Jug.' Lemzly Dale and BR3 close out this superb mix of trap, grime and dubstep.

Review: Repress time: Bristolian Lemzley dished out this string-strung classically informed dubstep banger two years ago. With the rise of instrumental grime, this sounds beyond on-point to this day. As do the remixes: Lington adds a little high end paranoia and tight LFO fluctuations on the fills while Spooky plays heavy on the strings with added bottom end wobble. Immense.... Records like this don't come round very often.

Review: Immense compositions from two of Bristol's brightest sparks Modelle and Lemzley Dale. "Polybus" is an incredible opener with its almost theatrical spirals and cascades while "Majula's Curse" continues the cinematic pressure with sweeping poignant strings and a sense of drama that's shattered with gully space bass. Dig deeper for "Talisman", a mystic portal firing us straight back to 2000 BC Egypt and back on every bar and the floating, highly emotional arpeggios of "Afterlife". Genuine beauty.
