Review: James Francis Marion Jones was a Black American religious leader whose movement turned into the Church of Universal Triumph, Dominion of God. During the fifties, he hosted his own weekly television shows in Detroit on a Sunday afternoon, making him the first black preacher to do so. His late night sermons were full of passion and power, and half a century on they are as fascinating as ever.
