Review: The Dickies are a perennial favourite in US punk rock circles, with a legacy which winds back to the mid-80s and a mischievous sense of fun which has kept their fanbase loyal throughout the decades. This Balderdash set digs into the archives and rewards those fans with all kinds of unreleased treasures from the studio and the stage - cult favourites previously only found on bootlegs, offcuts and wildcards, and some of the band's best punk rock covers to boot. If you love punk rock and/or love The Dickies, you'll love this.

Review: With Tom DeLonge reuniting with Blink-182, and pop-punk fever at an all-time high yet again, punk piss-take artists The Dickies have opted to dig deep into their bag of unwashed tricks to deliver a sparkling new 7", entitled 'Blink-183'. Dusting off the title-track gem, originally intended for a Fat Records compilation but ultimately rejected, and B-siding the cut with a remnant from the, 'All This & Puppet Stew' sessions, this is pure, crystallised Dickies madness at its most jovial, snot-nosed and tongue-placed-well-firmly-in-cheek. Plus, it'll make do while the seemingly never-ending stretch to the as-yet-untitled new Blink-182 album lumbers on.

Review: The third full-length from punk heroes, The Dickies, came after a four-year gap in 1983, and was noted for being one of, if not, their most energetic, dare we say, pop-leaning projects. 'Stukas Over Disneyland' simply gave zero shits upon its release. Clocking in at barely 20 minutes, the record bolsters covers of both The Quick's 'Pretty Please Me', and a super sped up rendition of Led Zeppelin hit, 'Communication Breakdown', as well as exuding a serious penchant for catchy hooks (see opening smasher 'Rosemary'.) This reissue also includes the Restless Records bonus tracks, but thankfully kept to the very end of the wax, as opposed to being interspliced into the original tracklist as was the case on the original reissue.
