Soul Brothers Six - "I'll Be Loving You" (2:18)
Willie Tee - "Walkin' Up A One Way Street" (2:44)
Review: Outta Sight's latest monthly rare soul missive contains hard-to-find and overlooked classics from "hard-hitting" New Jersey vocal group Soul Brothers Six and New Orleans Rhythm and Blues man Willie Tee. It's the former's wonderfully sweet and loose "I'll Be Loving You" (first released in 1966, fact fans) that takes pride of place on the A-side, serving up a lightly sauteed soul take on the rhythm and blues template. Willie Tee's 1967 jam "Walking Up A One Way Street", a summery affair blessed with a superb horn section, leisurely groove and brilliant lead vocal from the man himself, can be found on the B-side.

Bring On The Heartaches (2:22)
Take Your Time (2:38)
Review: Willie Tee asked to 'Bring on the Heartaches' back in the 70s on the Gator Records label. It was one of the American keyboardist, vocalist, songwriter and producer's most noted tuns despite putting out some 25 plus singles and three albums across his career. It's one that will now catch you not far off L100 for a decent second hand copy but this welcome reissue makes it available to one and all once more. It's a super sweet blend of the heart melting soul and gentle funk sounds for eh day on the a-side, while things get even more wrought and trent on the flip 'Take Your Time.'

Review: American keyboardist, vocalist, songwriter and producer Willie Tee has a dine run in the seventies and eights, releasing three well-received albums and a series of more than 25 singles that offered up his unique blend of funk and soul. A few of the more choice cuts - ie those that often fetch some pretty high prices on second-hand markets these days- are being reissued at the moment and this is one of them. 'I Peeped Your Hole Card' arrives on Gatur and is a fine example of his uplifting style with gently funky beats.

Concentrate (3:47)
Get Up (3:35)
Review: Willie Tee is one of those New Orleans artists whose records are hard to find and expensive. He is the perfect subject of special record store day reissues and that's what we get here from the Gatur label. 'Concentrate' is some high-class mellow magic from 1980. The backside tune is another doozy with more New Orleans mellow funk bringing to mind the quality of Roy Ayers., It all makes for a 7" you simply cannot find anywhere online for any money whatsoever and thus a crucial one to snap up before it's gone again.

Don't Get Caught (3:37)
Don't Get Caught (instrumental) (3:34)
Review: Having given us the "Run Around" last summer, Super Disco Edits return to their private stash of unreleased Willie Tee masters with another funk soul gem. "Don't Get Caught" is a pacey, stomping session with a bassline that just won't quit and Willie laying down stern words of advice loosely in a jamming style. The instrumental is a work of art in itself as Willie's instrumentalism really shines on every aspect... Trust us, you'll keep coming back to that build up time and time again. Don't get caught without this.

Run Around (4:50)
Run Around (Sparse mix) (4:48)
Review: Having released on classic powerhouses such as Capitol and Atlantic, as well as other lesser known but equally coveted soul labels, we can safely say that Wilson John Turbinton aka Willie Tee is up there with the greats. The multi-talented keyboardist and vocalist released an astounding volume of music before his death back in 2007, and not all of it easy to come by these days. So, we're pleased to see "Run Around" previously unissued and now on 7" for Super Disco Edits because it's a funky and timeless soul ballad with a warm twist and a touch of sexiness for the dance. The 'Sparse' mix on the flip is perhaps less seductive but Turbington lays out more space for his own vocal charm on this version. Excellent.
