International Women's Day 2019: Ciel

Ciel is a DJ, producer, and radio programmer based in Toronto, Canada. She is the founder of the female-prioritizing party series & radio show Work in Progress, and in 2019 also co-founded promising Toronto label Parallel Minds. She released her first EP on Shanti Celeste's Peach Discs imprint in 2017, and joined the Discwoman collective at the end of that same year. In 2018 she released her follow up EP Hundred Flowers on London's Coastal Haze, and became a Rinse FM resident in early 2019. Her third release is forthcoming on Ghostly International via its dancefloor-oriented sister label, Spectral Sound. Her label Parallel Minds will release its first VA compilation EP on wax in April of 2019.
