ACID WASHED

Acid Washed are putting the finishing touches to their new EP, Prince Acid. More news on that along with their sophomore album to come. To whet the appetite for the months to come, the duo of Andrew Claristidge & Richard D’Alpert are releasing an EP of Change remixes. The pulsating delight of their debut album gets five supreme treatments resulting in total dancefloor bombs. The Get Downs contribute a ‘Femme Fountain’ remix, all slow groove, languid tension punctuated by cackles and deft refeels of the original. Anteros & Thanaton bring a mirage of percussion, classic percussion that builds around the sustained note of the original, before magisterial pianos arrive. Argentine nuevodisco duo DJ Parejas send the original on a deranged voyage into space. We Are Cassandre stay on this trip with a remix that fizzes and flutters with cosmic intent. Last but certainly not least is a collaborative effort by Kasper Winding & the late Kjeld Torstrup, dubbed the ‘Theme from Acid Washed the Television Series’ – an undeniable epic.
