Yamaha HS8 Matched Pair Powered Studio Monitors (black, pair)
Cat: 785338 Rel: 21 Oct 20

Studio monitors
Notes: In the 15 years since they were introduced, the HS Series powered studio monitors have become a favourite in professional, project and home studio environments.
The new special edition HS8 MP Set includes two HS8 monitors, both manufactured using a unique process and both utilising specially selected parts. The result is a pair of monitors, each as closely matched to one another as is possible.

2-way bass-reflex bi-amplified nearfield studio monitor with 5" cone woofer and 1" dome tweeter
54Hz - 30kHz (-10dB), 74Hz - 24kHz (-3dB) frequency response
45W LF plus 25W HF bi-amp system for high-performance 70W power amplification
ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM response controls
XLR and TRS phone jack inputs accept balanced or unbalanced signals

The HS Series embodies the design philosophy on which Yamaha has long insisted for its studio monitors, and is now available as a special paired model that uses selected volume parts. The paired model series bears the designation of MP (Matched Pair), and MP stickers are affixed to the back of each unit. Manufactured at the same time and with paired serial numbers, the HS MP models can play a valued role in your recording, mixing, and mastering work.

Yamaha Pro Audio's history of aspiration and innovation goes back to 1969. Since the creation of Yamaha's first pro audio products (the VA120 and VA180 vocal amp systems), they've repeatedly aspired and innovated to create a wide-ranging lineup for applications including broadcast studios and commercial spaces, such as mixing consoles, power amplifiers, speakers, processors, and immersive sound solutions, each with the aim of becoming the new standard in their respective market.

Monitor speakers are one of the product areas that must be mentioned when speaking of Yamaha Pro Audio's fifty-year history. The NS10M STUDIO which went on sale in 1977 was a studio monitor speaker loved by numerous engineers, and earned a role in studios around the world. In 1998 came the MSP5 powered monitor speaker which focused on providing the painstakingly faithful playback of the original sound that is demanded from nearfield monitors. Subsequently, the MSP/MSP STUDIO series that appeared during the period 2000 through 2008 benefited from a full measure of the know-how and technology that has been accumulated in the field of pro studio monitor design, going on sale as a flagship model that boasted a stunning degree of perfection.

Yamaha have insisted on complete fidelity to the original sound and the ability to reproduce the subtle changes of tone and position in the mix, and these principles are exemplified in the HS series that appeared in 2005 with its bright white cones. As high-bit and high-sampling-rate continue as trends in the field of music production, leading to an increasing need for high-quality nearfield monitors, these speakers deliver the high-quality sound and accuracy that are ideal for the studio environment. In 2013, fusing the know-how and cutting-edge analysis technology that has been developed through many years of studio monitor design, and carefully rethinking every element, the next-generation HS series have been announced, adds yet more polish to the accuracy of these speakers.

Accessory kit for OP-1
Notes: The OP-1 world is continuously evolving with new accessories and new OS updates adding more effects and functions with every release. With OP-1's modular architecture, all this new functionality comes without adding any complexity to the user interface or resulting in over-clustered screens. Your OP-1 will always be intuitive and simple to use.

Accessories included in the OP-1 Accessory Kit:

Antenna:
3.5 mm plug-in radio antenna for better signal reception when indoor or in remote areas.

Crank:
Mount the crank accessory on OP-1's blue knob and press shift + rec. Your OP-1 is now in "hand-crank-recording mode". Use the crank to create some real vintage old skool recordings. It's also possible to crank counter clockwise, to record backwards. All in realtime. The crank also lets you use the endless sequencer as a hand cranked music box! Just enter the notes and crank the crank! The crank LFO lets you crank any parameter.

Bender:
Bender mounts on the orange knob and comes with a rubberband that is attached around the blue knob for elasticity. By selecting the bender in the LFO browser, you may bend any parameter you like. Everything from pitch to filter or synthesizer parameters.

Brick Shaft:
Brick shafts are LEGOr compatible shafts that you put on any of the knobs. Now you may mount any lego part. Why not put on a big lego rubber wheel for that extra grip? Or build your own motor driven programmable LFO together with LEGOr MINDSTORMS? The brick shaft comes in four colors and lets you experiment with any parameter. It supports any idea you may have that involves LEGOr bricks.

TC Electronic Spectracomp Bass Compressor Pedal

Bass compressor pedal
Notes: SPECTRACOMP BASS COMPRESSOR is the tiniest big thing to hit the world of bass in a long time. This ultra-compact and highly intuitive multiband compressor, is made to bring out all of the glorious low-end punch and presence of your beloved bass in the most transparent and musical way you've ever heard. Just turn it on and take charge of the groove.

Studio-quality multiband compressor - perfectly tuned for bass
TonePrint enabled
Ultra-small footprint

The magic of multiband bass compression was first introduced in TC's innovative RH-series bass amps, which made dialing in super-smooth compression an absolute breeze. With SPECTRACOMP BASS COMPRESSOR the simplistic one-knob approach from the amps was kept, while greatly improving the compression algorithm. This gives you access to studio-quality compression tones, in a stompbox so small that you can't afford not to have it on your board.

SPECTRACOMP BASS COMPRESSOR contains the same high-quality MD3 dynamics engine known from TC's studio production powerhouse, System 6000. A dynamics engine that has been used on countless hit-records and massive blockbuster movie productions. This advanced algorithm applies perfectly tweaked compression for your high, mid and low frequencies to create a more unified and balanced sound where your low strings never overtake your highs, something that's simply not possible with the one-size-fits-all compression known from a typical stompbox. This way you'll get a tight and punchy attack, with endless sustain all without ever compromising the natural low-end response of your bass.

Picture SPECTRACOMP BASS COMPRESSOR as an ice cream. It's smooth, delicious and easy to love. But maybe you want to super-pimp your ice cream with cherries, chocolate sauce and sprinkles shaped like unicorns? You want to make that tone-sundae your own. This is where TonePrint comes into play. Via the free editor you can customize your own compression tone through a wealth of deep editing parameters, so it suits your rig perfectly. You can also try on custom pre-made tones via the free app for Android and iOS. Tone tweaking just leveled up.

Ideally suited to stereo and 5.1 mixing, mastering and post-production, CLARITY M's 7" high-resolution LCD display provides a wealth of monitoring information at-a-glance via a single screen. Metering options include; the legendary LM6 Loudness Radar Meter; a state-of-the-art true peak meter; downmix compliance; stereo/surround correlation meters; and a RTA (Real Time Analyzer).

Source inputs come in a vast array of options including: USB for hassle-free VST*, Audio Units* and AAX* plug-in metering; 6 channels of unbalanced AES3 digital audio on 75 Ohm BNC connectors for broadcast-grade 5.1 metering; and stereo optical for maximum flexibility. CLARITY M is fully compliant with all major broadcast standards including ITU BS.1770-4, ATSC A/85, EBU R128, TR-B32 and OP-59, and is recommended for all studio environments.

CLARITY M provides a veritable toolbox of meter types to help you make the right mix and mastering decisions for truly professional recordings.

RTA
The high accuracy RTA with 1/3 octave resolution and individual band zoom provides a great overview of the spectral distribution of your mix.

True-Peak
Based on TC Electronic's highly acclaimed True-Peak Technology, the CLARITY M is your guard against otherwise unpredictable clipping.

Loudness Radar
The Loudness Radar is essential when it comes to monitoring the loudness of your mix. With the loudness history overview on the scope, the radar helps get the levels just right, while the momentary loudness in the outer ring keeps an eye on your instant loudness level.

Loudness Measures
Loudness statistics not only keep you compliant with loudness standards, they also provide crucial information on other important aspects of your mix, such as micro dynamics and macro dynamics.

Downmix Deviation
The Deviation meter is a fundamental tool to ensure your mix sounds great whether played back in 5.1, stereo or mono. This downmix compatibility meter is based on TC Electronic's Loudness Technology, and provides the best means for determining the status of your mix fold down.

Correlation
Whether you mix in 5.1 surround or stereo, the correlation meter helps identify phasing issues and other anomalies that are easy to miss when relying solely on your ears.

While CLARITY M is an exceptional hardware stand-alone desktop meter, it also interacts seamlessly with your DAW workfl ow via plug-in metering - which is available for Pro Tools, Apple Logic Pro, Nuendo, and all other major VST*, AU* or AAX* compatible DAWs. CLARITY M is quite simply the ideal integration of two worlds.

CLARITY M provides a wealth of digital connectivity. Unbalanced AES3 (coaxial) and S/P DIF are available right out of the box, and optional adapters enable you to connect standard AES/EBU with ease. Additionally, you can use the TOSLink* port for optical input and the USB connection to work seamlessly with your favorite DAW.

CLARITY M includes an integrated stand, making it perfect for any desktop. A pair of mounting holes provides compatibility with RAM-Mounts, allowing convenient attachment to a wall or ceiling. Other options include a suction cup for mounting on hard surfaces and a tough-claw mount for mic stand applications, all of which are available separately.

With its high-resolution 7" display, wealth of metering tools, flexible connectivity and seamless DAW integration, CLARITY M sets the benchmark for computer integrated metering.

With separate voices pitched in either direction, the polyphonic algorithm lets you easily process pitch-shifted chords, riffs, and furious flurries of single-notes. Since each voice is adjustable from unison to two octaves up or down (and anything in between), BRAINWAVES has more range than an interstellar battle cruiser. You can quickly create custom pitch settings via the free TonePrint app to find or expand your own pitch personality.

Whammy mode packs a powerful fistful of sonic punch. With 2 individually programmable voices, you can instantly go from nice and sweet, to a 2-octave, dive bomb explosion - just by MASHing the footswitch.

Detune mode lets you widen your sound for a more open, sweet and dynamic tone. Unlike most chorus effects, detuning plays really well with complex chord voicings, even those drenched in distortion.

BRAINWAVES also nails the squeaky clean, watery '80s tones we all know and love. Or slap on some dirt and dial up a shallow detune for the secret thickening agent from Van Halen's post-1984 tone. MASH down the footswitch for an extra dose of instant detune goodness; the Mix knob lets you blend in just the right amount of effect, keeping your sound balanced - even at extreme settings!

The BRAINWAVES PITCH SHIFTER features groundbreaking new technology that brings a wide range of creative expression to the party, controlled solely by how much pressure you apply to the depressed footswitch.

Years in the making, and only available in select TC Electronic products, this clever innovation elevates the common footswitch well above rather mundane duties, such as "On" and "Off". More importantly - MASH elevates your performance to the next level.

TonePrint means signature effects - and signature effects means truly creative tones.

With optimized headroom, True Bypass or Buffered Bypass switch and Kill-Dry on/off, this pedal guarantees optimal tonal integrity and zero loss of tone. And, no matter if the pedal is on or off your precious dry sound is always passed through the pedal unharmed in all it's pure analog glory due to an Analog-Dry-Through.

Download the free TonePrint app for Android and iPhone, choose the TonePrint you want to hear and beam it instantly from your phone through your guitar's pickup into your TonePrint pedal. No cables needed!

Tangible Waves AE Modular SOLINA String Machine Emulation Module
Cat: 786501 Rel: 31 Oct 20

String machine emulation module
Notes: SOLINA, an emulation of the 70ies string machines!

The SOLINA module is based on th excellen work of Jan Ostman, who has developed a very good digital based emuation of the sound of the string synths that were popular in the music of the 70ies and 80ies, like ARP Solina (who gave this module it's name), Logan String and others.

Their unique sound is based on several, minor detuned sawtooth oscillators and an ensemble effect.

This module produces chords, which can be shaped in different ways, like selecting the base scale (minor, major), adding the 7th or a bass note and different variations of the chord. The sound can be shaped with a variable oscilator spread/detune, adding a phaser/ensemble and a tone knob for choosing the overall character between bass focused to only higher parts of the sound.

Tangible Waves AE Modular SLEW/EDGE CV Slew Limiter & Edge Detector Module
Cat: 786504 Rel: 31 Oct 20

VC slew limiter & edge detector module
Notes: A slew limiter / edge detector for CV's.

The SLEW/EDGE module has two purposes:

First, it is a slew limiter, changes in the incoming CV are softened with a variable slew time. If the CV is used e.g. for controlling an oscillator, you get a portamento. With two switches it can be controlled if only rising or falling CVs or CV change in both directions are processed with the slew time. Additionally, the choice if rising and/or falling CVs are "slewed" can be controlled with external gate signals.

The second purpose of the module is an edge detector that indicates if the incoming CV is rising or falling; this information is available as different outputs (one that is high on rising and low on falling input, and short pulses on rise / fall / any change.

The SLEW/EDGE module combines the function of a slew limiter for CVs and a CV change detector in one module. The slew operation can be activated individually for rising and/or falling CVs, either by switches or controlled by external gate signals. The edge detection generates various gate / trigger output signals depending on rising or falling of the input CV.

Module power consumption: 5 mA

The second purpose of the module is an edge detector that indicates if the incoming CV is rising or falling; this information is available as different outputs (one that is high on rising and low on falling input, and short pulses on rise / fall / any change.

The Slew detector can be useful if using the S&H module for modulation; rather than jumps it will smooth the changes between the different levels, particularly good on filter modulation, unless you want the sudden changes.

Tangible Waves AE Modular SEQ8 Analogue 8-Step CV Sequencer Module
Cat: 786498 Rel: 31 Oct 20

8-step CV sequencer module
Notes: An analog 8-step CV sequencer.

The SEQ8 is an 8-step sequencer for controlling oscillator pitch and triggering envelopes.

Compared to "classic" analog sequencers it works a bit different: Instead of setting the CV for each step independently (which means in fact "tuning" each step which can be a bit tedious), the SEQ8 has 4 knobs for presetting different CV's (= notes); each of the 8 step knobs selects one of these CVs, plus 0V (=base note) plus Pause (no trigger output). So some CVs have to be fine-tuned once; with the step knobs you can focus entirely on the sequence itself and you can even modify it on the fly, still remaining in tune.

Additionally to the selected CV presets, the "raw" value of the step knobs is also accessible at an extra output.

Module power consumption: 7 mA

Tangible Waves AE Modular SAWVOX Synthvoice Module

Synthvoice module
Notes: A complete basic synthvoice in nasty 8-bit!

The SAWVOX module is a complete synth voice with two sawtooth oscillators, a filter and a VCA, all realized digitally with a tiny 8-bit microcontroller. The oscillators are detuned by a fixed rate to get a fatter sound, and can be switched to a single oscillator. Of course, due to the limited resources of the processor, the sound has the typical 8-bit lofi char, but the CV tracking is quite fine, and it can find its place in a lot of patches. All parameters can be CV controlled, eg. filter frequency and resonance.

The module is based on a simple 8-bit microcontroller and an adapted design of Jan Ostman.

Tangible Waves AE Modular QUANTIZER Automatic Musical Scales Module
Cat: 786489 Rel: 31 Oct 20

Quantizer module
Notes: The QUANTIZER takes four different CV inputs and processes them in a way that the CV values "snap" to the exact values so that oscillators controlled by the outputs of the module play the notes of a selected musical scale. With an encoder one of 16 scales can be selected and is displayed in a text display,

There are 4 independent channels that are quantized to the same selected scale.

As an additional feature, the module provides a trigger signal for each channel on every change on the output CV.

Finally, with a switch the scale selection can be "frozen" so there is no accidental change possible.

There are 4 independent channels that are quantized to the same selected scale.

Module power consumption: 15 mA

Inputs
CV 1 - accept CV for channel 1 of the quantizer
CV 2 - accept CV for channel 2 of the quantizer
CV 3 - accept CV for channel 3 of the quantizer
CV 4 - accept CV for channel 4 of the quantizer
Outputs
CV 1 - Quantized CV from channel 1 of the quantizer
CV 2 - Quantized CV from channel 2 of the quantizer
CV 3 - Quantized CV from channel 3 of the quantizer
CV 4 - Quantized CV from channel 4 of the quantizer
TRIG 1 - Gate signal on change of CV from channel 1 of the quantizer
TRIG 2 - Gate signal on change of CV from channel 2 of the quantizer
TRIG 3 - Gate signal on change of CV from channel 3 of the quantizer
TRIG 4 - Gate signal on change of CV from channel 4 of the quantizer
MULT - unbuffered multiple, unconnected from the module's circuitry
B. CV - CV signal from MIDI
Please note:

The notation of the outputs is slightly different on the panel than indicated here. There are two rows of identical outputs, side by side. For each output-trigger there is an activity LED, indicating a change in quantized CV.

Controls
SCALE Knob - selects the current scale. 16 scales are available, the selected scale will be displayed in the small display to the right of this knob
LOCK Switch - prevents accidental changes of the selected scale when activated
OFFSET Knob - Select from up to 12 notes from the well-tempered scale as base-value, depending on the scale selected. All left would be equivalent to a key of C
Please note:

Scale selection directly takes place when the SCALE Knob is turned, clicking it has no specific effect.

Tangible Waves AE Modular POLAMIX 3 Channel Attenuverter & Mixer Module
Cat: 786486 Rel: 31 Oct 20

The POLAMIX is similar to the 2CVTOOL in that you can offset and -/+ attenuate CV signals, but it also acts as a 3 channel mixer. Try to use this with 3 LFOs for modulation mayhem!

The three inputs are routed to corresponding knobs, where the center position means a level of zero. Turning the level knob to the right increases the level of the input signal; turning it to the left, the level is also increased, but inverted. E.G. when feeding a sawtooth signal to the input, you can get either a rising or falling signal at the output. And this for each of the three inputs. Finally, with the offset knob, the total level can be shifted up or down.

Tangible Waves AE Modular OR2x4 CV Generation & Manipulation Module

CV generation & manipulation module
Notes: The OR2x4 module combines 2x4 inputs by logical OR rule; the input signals are usually trigger/gate signals and are treated as digital signals.

This can be used either for "mixing" gate/trigger signals from different sources or for audio signals. too.

There are two independent units with four inputs each. With a switch all eight inputs can be linked to an 8-input OR.

With the GATE inputs the signal can be controlled further; if GATE gets a "low" signal then the output is low also. By this, the output can be synced to a common clock signal and even if one of the inputs remains high the output changes. If the GATE input remains open, the module operates as a regular OR gate.

Expected transition is from 0V to +5V (and back to 0V), but it will handle any voltage within the power supply range without damaging the module. Transition between what is considered "off" and "on" is at approximately 2.3V.

-12v @ 15mA
+5v @ 0mA

SynthRotek RND Random Voltage Generator Module (black faceplate) (fully assembled)
Notes: This handy module is a feature rich random voltage generator that is shallow and super powerful. It outputs random voltages (similar to a sample and hold) in time with either its internal clock, or with an external clock you can patch in. An external clock will bypass the internal clock, and the CV jack over the clock, so your random voltages will always be in sync with whatever you patch in. With CV control over both the clock speed and the range of your output voltage, you could create anything from a wildly fluctuating blur of notes all the way to a slow, lilting tune. The RND can also be used as a clock source with it's clock out jack.

Note: due to the voltage drop of the LED in the slide pots, the Range LED wont light up unless the output voltage is above 2v.

Current Draw:
16mA @ +12v
0mA @ -12v
0mA @ +5v

Comes with:
Keyed power cable.
2.5 and 3.0mm rack screws.
Super cool sticker.

SynthRotek Ratatak Distortion Pedal (fully assembled)
Cat: 778384

distortion pedal
Notes: Synthrotek's version of the classic RAT pedal goes well beyond a clone- 3 of the MOST POPULAR mods are ON BOARD. Switching between these mods is very easy.

The "Ratatak" Rat Clone Complete Pedal gets you that classic gritty tone with a lot of options for your own! We've designed these PCBs as close to the raved-about original with the most popular boutique pedal mods on-board.

4 controls - Volume, Drive, Filter, and R-Tone - to customize your tone. Volume sets the output level, Drive lets you determine the signal gain, Filter dials in the high frequency response, and R-Tone turns up your bass frequencies from clean to fuzzy grit.

DIP Switch Diode Clipping - On-board 4PST DIP Switch selects between 4 different clipping diodes to drastically alter your sound. Turn on the stock version 1N4148s, LEDs, Germanium diodes, or none at all with flick of a little switch. Tons of tweak!

PCB is designed the original RAT tone IC, the LM308 single op amp, for the vintage tone. The updated version of the RAT line of pedals uses an inferior-sounding OP07DP op amp IC. Get the vintage tone!

SynthRotek Quadrangle Envelope Generator Module (silver faceplate) (fully assembled)
Notes: The Quadrangle is quad cascading triggered envelope generator with bipolar output attenuversion. Each channel has voltage control over attack and decay/release, end of attack and end of cycle trigger outputs, and mode (AR, loop and AD). Each channel's EOC is normalled to the next gate input, resulting in interesting rhythmic opportunities. Channel 4 has a "stop" or "continuous looping" switch which allows either a "one shot" cascaded envelope or continuous cycling. The SUM output allows for longer and more dynamic bipolar envelopes, perfect for interesting modulation. Users also have voltage control over all of the attacks and decay/releases simultaneously when using the ALL A and ALL D/R input jacks. Massive function generation, modulation, rhythm and versatility sets the Quadrangle in a class of its own.

Specifications:
Module width: 20HP
Module depth: 15mm
Current draw:
+12V: 64mA
-12V: 44mA
Comes with power cable, 2.5mm and 3.5mm screws
