Notes: This module is a eurorack version of the 16n Faderbank, implemented with 16 CV inputs and some other smart add ons. Almost everything is in the front panel.

This new version is oriented for firmware tweaks and future expansions, still being fully compatible with the 16n and the previous Sweet Sixteen.

There are 16 channels, which can be used as:
Midi controller
Manual CV generator (0 to 8v range)
CV to Midi CC
i2C controller
CV to i2C data

The Midi CC number and channels can be different for the TRS jack and the USB port. The firmware has been tweaked to allow also Pitch Bend, which is pretty handy because you can get much better resolution through Midi (from min to max values Midi CCs have 128 steps and Pitch Bend has a resolution of 16.384 steps).

The voltage generated by every fader is up to 8v, which is good enough to control eurorack modules (like wide open/close the cutoff frequency of a filter etc).

In the midi CC messages, 0 volts will correspond to a value of 0, and 8 volts to a value of 127. But the CV to Midi can handle also negative voltages, for such task there are 4 slide switches (1 for every 4 faders) that swaps the internal voltage reference in a way that, when activated, 0 volts will be the middle position of the midi controller, -4 volts the minimum value and +4 volts the maximum. Those switches only affect the Midi/i2C outs, CV outs won't be affected by them in any way.

If you plug in a bigger voltage source (like a -5v+5v LFO or a 10v envelope) the fader will work as attenuator, so you'll be able to adapt how that signal affects the Midi CC out, covering the whole Midi CC range, saturating the waveform or just affecting it briefly.

Panel USB port is type B, which seems to be stronger than mini or micro ones.

i2C could connect directly to an ER-301, monome Ansible or a monome Teletype.

The Teensy can be powered via the internal regulator or the +5v eurorack rail (selectable via a switch on the back).

The partial kit comes with all SMD populated, so only through hole components requires soldering work.

Synth module
Notes: This is a dual sequencer, nothing really new but fun to play with. Oriented to facilitate the interaction of both sequencers in order to get more complex patterns and polyrhythms. Very "hands on" CV source & good complement for more complex digital sequencers like Eloquencer, Performer etc.

There are 3 GLOBAL STYLES:
DUAL (2 totally independent 8 step sequencers)
PARALLEL (one sequencer with 2 rows of CV and 8 steps)
SINGLE (one sequencer with 16 steps)
There are also those PLAY MODES:

There are 2 dedicated buttons (and trigger inputs) to change the sequencer behaviour, pressing 1 button will cycle between the play modes, pressing 2 buttons will do it within the global styles.

Each sequencer has:
8 faders & 8 switches (1 per step)
1 master fader
1 switch for manual step & reset
clock, reset and mode inputs
2 gate outs (activated with the switches, center position is no gate)
1 cv out (0 +8 volts range, unquantized)

There is also an output which is the sum of the 2 CVs of both sequencers and 2 gate outs which are a combination of both sequencer gate lines, pretty handy if it's being used as a 16 steps single sequencer but also interesting when used in dual style.

8 position rotary switch to control the number of steps of the second sequencer, but also other switch allows to send that "reset" signal to the first sequencer instead of the second one, useful for the single 16 step style or to make both sequencers interact.

It has 2 slew limiter circuits with input and output, so they can be used independently, by default processing the CV out of each sequencer, forcing the slew to the max will give as result like a weird-synched LFO, but also the gate outs could be plugged in to get like rudimentary envelopes.

The first sequencer has CV control over step repetition, there's a switch to select the CV IN or the second sequencer as source for such purpose (the master fader has no effect over this, so the 8 lines of the faders correspond to the step repetition, from 1 clock per step to 8) Than means that when used in parallel style the lower row of faders could control the step duration, Metropolis or System 100m style.

Two jumper in the back of the module allows to use the "mode 2" input as reversed CV sum output, giving a total of 6 CV and 6 GATE outs.

All standard VCF controls are available: manual filter frequency control Frq, one control voltage input with attenuator (FCV2)and one without attenuator (FCV1, ~ 1 V/octave). In addition voltage controlled resonance with manual control (Q) and a CV input with attenuator (QCV) are available. The circuit is based on a 24dB lowpass filter. The outputs of the four internal filter stages (i.e. the 6, 12, 18 and 24dB outputs) are mixed together with different levels and polarities to obtain 15 different filters. Because of this special circuit the outputs have slightly different levels and noise floor. This is caused by the different internal amplifications and numbers of stages that are required to generate the filter in question. If e.g. a filter is derived by one stage only (e.g. the 6 dB, 12dB, 18dB and 24dB low pass) the noise floor is smaller compared to a filter that is derived by a combination of all four filter stages. The module generates a distorted audio signal if the level control is set to about 50% (i.e. center position) or more with A-100 standard signals like VCOs.

Notes: The Animodule M1xXOR is the Jon Snow of Animodule's product lineup. Described as a "bastard progeny" and "unholy union" by its creators, the module is an amalgamation of the V9a, VCSS, XXX_OR, and MixMan modules. Each of the module's channels, as well as the mixer, can be used independently of the sequencer, enabling a variety of self-contained and inter-module uses. When used independently for self-contained functionality, the module can function as a 4-channel DC-coupled mixer or as 4 individual channels of gated attenuation.

How It Works:
-Signal goes in to Channel Input (it's DC connected so you can use Audio OR CV).
-Signal is attenuated via Channel Attenuator.
-Signal is allowed to pass through to Individual Channel Output AND Mixer Output IF Gate Input is High OR Switch is depressed.

-Clock Pulse High in to Clock Input Moves Sequence forward 1 Step.
-The Channel that the step is On will be open
-CV can be used to control the Sequencer via the CV Input.
-There is a resolution of 5 steps (4 channels and a 0 step allowing for all channels to be cleared from the Sequencer).
-There is an attenuator and offset to help properly scale and position your CV Input.
-CV Input is expecting 0V to +5V, but with the Attenuator and Offset will easily work with -/+5V.
-Clock and CV maybe used in tandem resulting in some mind melting rhythms!
-In that case the Clock will step forward 1 step from it's current position (unless it's on step 4 in which case it will roll over to step 1)
-The Clock used in conjunction with the CV will bitshift the sequence to the left, incrementing the static position of the step counter by 1 (wrapping around to step 1 after step 4).
-Fer' Instance, 2 Clock counts and CV is on 0. Step will be on Channel 2
-Gate High in to Reset will reset Clock counter to step 1 OR if Clock Input is being used in conjunction with the CV Input the reset will clear the Clock Counter and return the step to where the CV indicates it should be without any BitShifting

*Gate Input / Switches in conjunction with Sequencer:
-The Sequencer and the Gate Input / Switches combine in a XOR gate. If one is High and the other is not, that channel will be open. If BOTH are High, that channel will be closed.

Despite the lengthy description, the M1xXOR is very intuitive (and unbelievably Fun!) to use.
Each Channel (and the Mixer) May be used independently of the Sequencer.
So if you're not in the mood for Rhythmic Insanity You still have a gateable 4 Channel DC-Coupled Mixer AND/OR 4 independent and gateable channels of Attenuation.
You will NEVER just have it filling space in your cabinet.
You will find a use for it in EVERY patch!

Let's face it, couldn't we ALL use a little more length?

This Tiny (yet powerful) Module allows you to manipulate your gate length and delay your event triggers with ease and minimal impact on your HP.

Take an incoming Signal above ~1.1V (OpAmp Comparators on the Inputs make very forgiving Clock Inputs) and shrink it down to 5MS or lengthen it up to 5 Seconds.

That Gate will appear at the Gate Out.

When the Gate is Over a 10MS Trigger will turn on at the Delay Out.

Set the length of the Gate with the Time Potentiometer OR with the CV Input.

The switches allow you to choose between Interrupt OR Dividing Behavior (1 for each channel).

If you have Interrupt selected, when Clock In receives a new Clock Pulse the time will reset, essentially lengthening your Gate Out and Delay Out to the Time you have set + the time that has already elapsed.

So Gate will never go Low and Delay will never go High if you have a Time set longer than the interval between Clock Pulses (Useful if you have staggered, irregular or random Clocks).

When Dividing is selected Clock In will Ignore new Clock Pulses until it has finished the current cycle it's running.

The Delay 1 Out is Normalled via the Jack switch of the Clock 2 Input for all kinds of Timing madness!

Envelope follower/envelope generator/external/expander synth module
Notes: The Percussion Interface (PI) and PI Expander are a pair of Eurorack modules that generate gates and envelopes from acoustic drums, samplers, drum machines, and virtually any audio source.

Converting microphone, instrument, line and modular signals into CV and clock/gate signals, the PI and PI Expander are suited for synchronizing sequencers or other modules to the rhythm of an audio track or live percussion. The modules can simultaneously be used as a pre-amp for microphones or line-level signals, while generating inverted envelopes useful for side-chaining. The PI module contains all the core functionality and can be used without the Expander to conserve space. The Expander requires the main PI modules and adds three gain stage options, a modular-level audio output jack, a 1/4" (6.35mm) input jack, and envelope attenuation capabilities. The two modules are only sold together, they are not available separately.
