Back construction consists of a paper layer sandwiched between two sheets of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a translucent HDPE front.

Why Add a Rice Paper Layer?
These archival record sleeves are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a rice paper backing. The rice paper layer is sandwiched between two sheets of HDPE with a translucent HDPE front. You'll find many records in their premium master sleeve, still in perfect condition decades later. This construction has other benefits, too:

Notes: Tonar plastipap antistatic record inner sleeves (25 pieces) are made of super antistatic plastic paper reinforcement inside the plastic. This combination gives you both a dust free anti-static protection for your valuable records as well as additional strenght to avoid folding and creasing of the sleeves when sliding the sleeve in and out of the record album. Notes: While the inner sleeve is the most important protection for the actual vinyl record, this won't protect your album cover from damage. Without protection, your album art is likely to get scratches and scuff marks or even tears on the spine. The colours can also fade if exposed to sunlight and heat.

These protective sleeves are made from polypropylene which is a great all-around choice for economical protection. The material is crystal clear so it won't obscure your album covers while on display. In addition, these sleeves are UV resistant which protects from sun damage and fading and keeps vinyl records in top condition no matter their age.
