Flexible Signal Distribution

Optimized for gate and trigger
The module is specially designed for the distribution of gates and triggers. It allows you to route a signal unchanged to multiple outputs, which is ideal for complex signal paths.
Limited CV signal suitability
Although the passive multiple can also be used for CV signals, it is only suitable to a limited extent due to its passive design. For precise voltage distribution, especially with pitch CV, we recommend using a buffered multiple to avoid signal loss and inaccuracies.

On the back of the pcb is a pair of solder points marked as "link". You can connect these (with a solder blob or small jumper wire) to turn the mult into a single 8 channel Mult instead of 2 x 4 channel.
The RACKLINK is a module for connecting two AE cases; the kit contains of 2 identical modules and a connector cable (length 50 cm). The modules are placed in both cases and are connected by the cable.

All bus lines (CV, GATE, CONTROL, MIDI clock/start/stop) are connected to the second case
Additionally, there are 8 connections that can be freely used; so it is not necessary to have connections between two cases. E.g. the second rack can run a patch for a drone sound, the output is then sent via Racklink line 1 to the first rack and here patched to a mixer, via line 2 the second rack can receive a modulation signal from the first one. The lines are bi-directional!
