Notes: The Tapographic Delay is a complex multi-tap delay in the Eurorack format with a unique interface designed for live performance. It excels at transforming the simplest audio (a drone, a percussive sound) into complex rhythmic structures, meshes of organic textures, lush harmonic mille-feuilles, liquid and resonant effects.

Have you ever got tired of the monotonous repetitions that your standard delay pedal/module produced? Have you ever wished for a more complex rhythmic structure than just decaying repetition? If yes, you have come to the right place: the Tapographic Delay is an advanced effect that lets you handle repetition in a completely novel way. It is to a traditional delay what a full rhythmic sequencer (with pattern recall, velocity control, tactile input) is to a simple clock. With the TD, you interactively define the rhythm that the repetitions will follow: a velocity-sensitive sensor allows you to record, edit, modify, and sequence your own arrangements of delays. In a sense, the TD is the converse of the classic Frippertronics sound-on-sound setup popularized by Robert Fripp in the 70's: you don't play the guitar, you play the tape loop!

The Tapographic Delay is an expressive experimental instrument meant to be played in real-time, rather than a set-and-forget end-of-chain effect. Interact with it! Experiment! Push it to its limits!

Notes: nRings

This is a new build of a micro version of Rings from Mutable Instruments. MicroRings, also called NanoRings, retains all the same functionality as a full-size Rings module.

The module is fully assembled, tested, and calibrated. Eurorack power cable is included.

These modules use tall bushing potentiometers to offer a more stable feel.

Notes: Perfect for adding that final touch to a modular patch, the AJHSynth Finaliser R-EQ module includes seven Mono / Stereo reverb types, along with a four band equaliser and a Sonic Maximiser / Enhancer.

The Reverb, EQ and Maximiser can be used in Mono IN, Mono OUT mode or Mono IN, Stereo OUT modes. The reverb alone can also be used in Stereo IN / Stereo OUT mode too.

The fully analogue four band Equaliser includes three parametric equalisers for Low, Low Mid and High Mid ranges, and the High EQ has switchable shelving of either 2kHz or 5kHz. The Low EQ also includes a shelving mode.

The Maximiser is a fully analogue circuit too, with low and high treatment bands which change the phase and amplitude relationships of the sound to add punch and harmonics and really bring the sound to life in the mix.

The Reverb engine is based on 20 year old DSP technology, harking back to the reverb units which were used extensively on many synth and EDM tracks a couple of decades ago. We have added full control of reverb wet / dry mix, either manually or under CV control.

Notes: The RS-650 Echo / Reverb is a combination of the RS-310 and RS-440 which are based on the same circuit.

It offers both delay (echo) and reverb settings in one module. It is based on a bucket brigade device (BBD) with six parallel delay taps. Those six delay times have no relationship to each other and their outputs have different levels. You have to consider the reverb effect as a mixture of six different short delays what results in a dense sound. The clock frequency which scans the bucket brigade is audible and you'll have to use a low pass filter in order to eliminate or minimize it. In Reverb mode the delay time can be set between 2.5ms and 150ms and in Echo mode it spans from 75ms to 200ms.

All modules by Analogue Systems come ready to use with five years warranty mounted in the by the customer preferred rack or cabinet.

Notes: Module A-199 is a spring reverb module. The reverb effect is electronically simulated by means of 3 spiral springs. Spring reverb systems have a very characteristic sound that is based on the (insufficient) mechanical properties of the springs like signal delays, audio resonances, limited frequency range, acoustic feedback behaviour, sensitivity to mechanical shocks and others.

The 3-spring system used in the A-199 ensures a "dense" reverb because of the different properties of the three springs.

The A-199 implies some special features that are not self-evident for spring reverb units:

The reverb signal can be fed back to the input using the Feedback control. Even self-oscillation of the springs similar to the self-oscillation of filters is available. The feedback loop can lead even via external modules like VCA, VCF, phaser, frequency shifter, vocoder, distortion/waveshaper, ring modulator and others. In this case the reverb output of the A-199 is connected to the input of the external module(s) and the output of the external module(s) is fed back to the Ext. Feedback In socket of the A-199. This socket contains a switch that interrupts the internal feedback loop as soon as a plug is inserted.

Another feature is the Emphasis control. This enables the adjustment of the accentuation of middle frequencies (around ~ 2kHz).

With the Mix control the relation between original and reverb signal appearing at the mix output is adjusted.

Using all these features very extreme and unusual effects can be generated with the A-199.

Notes: Erica Synths Black Spring Reverb is a different take on spring reverberation units. Firstly, it has built in vactrol based audio compressor, secondly, it can operate an external tank and combination of both internal and external ones for effects unheard before, thirdly, in order to animate reverb effect, the module has built-in feedback effects - pitch shifters, delay, ring-modulator, etc; feedback amount and effect parameters can be controlled manually and via CV, making the module an experimental instrument on its own. Notes: Digiverb is a lo-fi reverb effect unit that uses an Accutronic digital reverb "tank" module. The sound is somewhere between a virtual spring reverb and a dense multi tap delay but the effect is quite musical and interesting.

Welcome to Aurora, a spectral reverb capable of a wide palette of sounds: from lush caverns and whale songs, to alien textures you've never created before. And likely, will invoke a hunger for exploration you felt when you first touched a modular synth.

Aurora uses a phase vocoder audio engine which separates the input signal's time and pitch domains. By blurring these signals you can achieve beautiful time-stretched tails, or cybernetic metallic effects.

Since Aurora's sonic response is entirely dependent on the input signal, no two patches will sound alike, lending itself to an infinite world of surprise and discovery.

Notes: Monolith is a pitch-shifter reverb inspired by west coast synthesis techniques. It utilizes a time-domain based FM algorithm that acts as a shimmer.

The SPRINGREVERB module brings the unique sound of this quite old (introduced in the 60's) technique for creating reverbs to the AE modular.

The reverb works by sending the audio signal to a set of 3 springs; at the other end of the springs the sound is picked up by a transducer, converting the mechanical movement of the springs back into an electrical signal. When the audio signal arrives at the end of the springs, the waves are reflected several times; these reflections create the reverb sound.

The spring "tank" (a metal box containing the springs and transducers, size approx. 24 x 9 x 3.5 cm) is connected externally by a cable.

The product contains all components: The module itself, the spring tank and the connection cable.

Note: The sound of a spring reverb is quite unique and has a strong vintage character; if you are looking for a more "clean", natural sounding reverb please take a look at the MULTIFX module.

Notes: ZVERB is a collection of all new reverb algorithms developed by Tiptop ranging from typical reverbs to more complex effects that combine delay and pitch shifting with reverb. The effects are grouped by decades based on either the era an algorithm was introduced or the time when the effect was most popular. This variety of reverbs covers small to epic size spaces with the addition of shimmering, feedback tunnelled pitch shifting, tape delay drivers, gated reverbs and a lot more. Analog clocking of the DSP chip and CV over the parameters enables even more experimentation. This is a collection inspired by the best from the past right at your fingertips.

Notes: The Multi-Delay Processor is a creatively usable echo effect with eight taps. The module's sound may remind you of classic bucket-brigade devices. - It even generates distinctive pitch effects when altering the delay time. An input mixer gives audio material a crisp, analogue character. Thanks to feedback channels with pitch shifter and reverb processor, shimmering echoes and other atmospheric effects can be achieved. A total of nine envelope followers and 14 audio outputs invite you to do extensive feedback patches and other edgy experiments.

The Multi-Delay Processor isn't just a high-quality echo effect but was designed to be a fundamental ingredient of patches. Its core is a bank of eight digital delays, which are wired in series. Together, the circuits form a multi-tap echo. The volume of each signal repetition as well as the raw material can be adjusted via faders. Furthermore, there are individual audio and envelope follower CV outputs for the dry signal and all taps. An analogue clock is used to control the echo circuits. The delay time can be set manually via a potentiometer plus there are two CV inputs with bipolar attenuators. Altering the delay time parameter during operation leads to pitch effects. At this point at latest, you'll realize the superiority of the serial memory design used by Mark Verbos over average effect chips. Despite its digital core, the Multi-Delay Processor offers charming sound reminiscent of a classic bucket-brigade device. - Only cleaner and more transparent.

A three-channel mixer with dedicated level potentiometers adds analogue character to signals before they are fed to the delay circuits. Without patch cables plucked into the second and / or third input, you can use these channels as feedback paths with additional effects. In detail, a pitch shifter calibrated to +1 octave (channel 2) and a reverb (channel 3) are available. - A perfect setup for creating shimmering echoes and other atmospheric effects. High feedback values make the module self-oscillate. In contrast to the multi-tap delay, which consists of individual components, an FV-1 chip is used for pitch shifting and reverberation. This processor is well-known, as it is the main component of multi-effects modules like the Erica Black Hole DSP and numerous guitar pedals. Here, the FV-1 is "just" a creative addition to the main effect.

In addition to the manual mix output, which emits the mixture of raw and effect material dialled in via the faders, there are four other audio outs. Two of these connectors provide signals derived from summing up all even respectively odd taps. The other sockets emit preset mixes with increasing or decreasing level. - Very cool for quickly creating special effects.
