Review: Buoyed by the success of their recent creepy tech-house cover of Pink Floyd's "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun", Bedouin pitch up on All Day I Dream with an altogether more picturesque collection of tracks. While B-side "Sight" explores similar sonic territory to that now infamous Floyd rework - think hypnotic beats, gently pulsing chords and quietly exotic instrumental flourishes - it's the looser, more obviously positive A-side cuts that stand out. Choose between the chiming melodies, rolling piano riffs and shuffling beats of "Straight to the Heart", and the subtle variations of the more fluttering "The Way Home".

Review: Following the fantastic reactions received for their previous collaborative EPs, Lee Burridge and mask-wearing man-of-mystery Lost Desert have decided to release a third 12" single. They hit the ground running on A-side "Loopyness", a pleasingly positive, fluid and sun-kissed chunk of rolling deep house/tech-house fusion full of cascading synthesizer lines, stretched-out chords and squidgy synth-bass. You'll find more dreamy, sunset-friendly warmth on the B-side in the shape of "Botanic", where heady chords and yearning melodies flutter in and out of view. The duo completes a fine package with "12CC", where portions of extended ambient bliss make way for Innervisions style grooves and near Balearic electronics.

It's been a while but at last the boss man himself is back on wax here, this time in collaboration with Los Desert across four fine tunes. 'Les Voyeurs De La Nuit' is a lovely jumbled-on scattered congas, toms and snaking synths that soon soothe the mind, body and soul. 'Slave To The Strings' is an elastic deep house cut with a busy melodic bassline and serene strings while 'You May Never Leave' is a sonic daydream tethered to a smooth, rolling house rhythm. 'Here With You' closes down with funky little guitar riffs stitched into another mind-expanding and gorgeously airy groove.

Pippi Ciez is in charge of this one and it opens up with the beautiful melancholy of 'Seeking Solitude' which has chords draped over smooth rolling drums. Review: Maxi Degrassi's 2020 output, which included melodious, must-check EPs for Sag & Tre and Melody of the Soul, was largely impressive, so hopes are naturally high for his All Day I Dream debut. The Argentinian producer begins by adding South American percussion, chiming lead lines, ethereal female vocal samples and spacey synth sounds to a chunky beat on 'The Love Goes First', before reaching for the pianos on the deeper, warmer and hazier dancefloor bliss pf 'String of Feelings'. 'About Energies' is a smooth, string-drenched treat, while closing cut 'Keep Moving' is dreamy, tactile and wonderfully hypnotic. Undeniably one of All Day I Dream's best EPs of the year - and that's saying something.

Review: If you have heard any All Day I Dream releases you will know what to expect, and yet still the label keeps on turning them out and still they keep us interested because it is such a lovely and escapist sound. Dim Kelly is next up to offer their own spin on it and do so with four fantastic cuts. 'Pianologic' is a piano-laced jam with wonky rhythms and warming pads that bring plenty of playfulness. 'Preach The World' (with Stereoclip) settles into a more smooth groove with subtler melodies and 'The Stream' then sinks into a more heads-down groove with darker basslines. 'Nuit D'amour' (feat Maya Safar) completes the picture with a spine-tinged vocal that soars over shimmering deep house.

Review: Double Touch make their return to German label, All Day I Dream, with their four-track EP, 'Storm'. Like soaking into an ambrosial dream, Reigan's beautiful vocals, reminiscent on 90s trip hop, drift effortlessly through the emotive core of the titular track, 'Storm'. For 'Serenity', a cherubic, cascading melody twirls gracefully around the driving, percussive spine of the track - replete with a sense of endlessness, this track is like looking into a distant horizon. 'So Free', the second track to feature Reigan's ethereal vocals, rides a rousing orchestral wave, precisely punctuated at points by soft garage-esque rhythms. And as the release draws to a close, a deep house reimagining of the classical piano piece, 'Clair De Lune', is a lesson in combining two supposedly disparate musical spheres. A fantastic release, perfect for roof-down listening or ecstatic dancefloors alike.

Review: Of those labels who exist at the intersection of deep house, tech-house and what would have once been called progressive house, few are quite as consistent as Lee Burridge and Matthew Dekay's All Day I Dream. The label's latest release is another doozy. It comes from returning twosome Double Touch, who've joined forces with vocalist Reignan to deliver a pair of sumptuous tracks that combine tech-tinged dancefloor grooves with simmering strings, warming chords and twinkling piano motifs. The star attraction is undoubtedly gorgeous title track 'Greatest Day', which is also given a slightly darker, deeper and even more atmospheric treatment by label regulars Lost Desert. The EP's other cut, 'All I Want', is a melancholic affair notable for its use of what sounds like a string quartet.

Review: London's All Day I Dream label is instantly recognisable for its use of clouds as its EP covers, a trend it has kept up since since its first release in 2011. This latest wispy six-track EP from Tim Green is a beautiful floater, very much unafraid of plunging its head into the deepest and most rapturous of clouds. Opener 'Water Steers' very much sounds like we're floating up to the pearly gates, with its stretched-out choir samples and voxy one-shots opening to a tricky single-key house track. From there, it's all blissful yet rave-worthy, with tech-trancers like 'Tears' and 'We've Been Here Before' not letting up from the crossrhythmic formula, but still laying down a slowly-revealed emotion.
