Review: It was more than a decade ago that Austrian musician Whizz Vienna was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the category 'Album of the Year,' and all this time later his latest long player is just as ripe for awards. It's a dusty and brilliantly well sampled collection of lo-fi, high soul beats that nod the boom-bap era. There are Marvin Gaye-style funk grooves, neo-soul gems and late night rollers along the way. It has been made with guests Kamp and Prinz Pi spitting on two of the 13 tunes with cuts by DJ Vektor.
