Review: Crossing the pond, UK-based DJ and producer Dan Greenpeace teams back up with Diamond D, a legendary rapper and producer from New York. The result is 'Nowhere To Run To', a hard-hitter gangsta rap anthem espousing a "trust no-one" headspace - "keep the grass cut low so you can see the snakes" - against a heavy, scratchy, paranoid horrorcore instrumental. Whether or not the classic 1965 song by Martha Reeves was kept in mind, Diamond D's trademark flow glides over Greenpeace's boom-bap production just as effortlessly as Reeves' did back then, expressing similar sentiments of entrapment and fate.

Review: As well as being one half of one of the greatest ever house duos in Masters at Works, Kenny Dope Gonzalez is also a life long beat addict, funk collector and dealer, and all round fountain of knowledge when it comes to back musical forms. He pours all of that into this new album which features 16 stylish bangers he has written, produced and recorded in the Kay Dee studios. These are well designed sounds perfectly ready to blow up any spot and will appeal to both DJs and dancers alike as a fine collection.
