Review: No retreat, no surrender! The legendary foundation jungle label Kemet welcome Uneak. Armed with a sound and style that's straight out of 93 (and a birth certificate to match too by the looks of things), Uneak is proof you're never too old to breakthrough with a slamming debut. All four of these cuts hit with clarity and breakbeat authenticity as we bubble and bump to a range of flavours; 'Roll Thunder' hits like an old V release circa 94, 'No Retreat' would have burnt Roast down, 'Wicked Jungle' is all about the sunnyside horns while 'All Be Free' brings the euphoric hurricanes. A highly accomplished debut release.

Review: Time for another reissue from the mighty Kemet, one of the sturdiest pillars of the original jungle foundations. Here we find them celebrating the contributions and pure skill of James Stephens' FOI alias with this champion slab from 1994. 'Champion Of Champions' brings a strong sense of triumph before murking you up with the vocal layers and cut-glass edits. Deeper into the EP we hit version central as the other two cuts utilise elements of 'Champions' in different ways; 'Stop Pushing' comes with the big euphoric blasts while the Bonus Dud Plate gives a different twist again. Pure entertainment.

Review: Big up to Kemet Music for hitting the not-so-insignificant milestone of a 40th EP. As ever, the music is of the highest quality with Sneak taking charge of this fierce four-track 12". 'Kill Sound' has strong ragga vibes with lasers shooting over the face of a classic dusty amen break while mad drum fills flit about the mix. 'Ashes To Ashes' is a lively one with snappy snare rolls and the sort of breaks that will blow up and floor, then 'Good Lord' brings a playful vibe with gun fingers a plenty and a dubby bottom end. Bonus Beat 'The Meantime' is a chaotic collision of sound to close.
