Moments' latest release showcases the work of debutant artist Come Closer. There's not much information floating around about the identity of the act or their inspirations, though we can tell from the sound of the two tracks here that they enjoy fusing vintage and contemporary electronics with live instrumentation and nods to various musical styles. On A-side 'Boudoir', they join the dots between the far-sighted late '70s electro-disco of Giorgio Moroder and Rinder & Lewis, with the live instrumentation of Balearic nu-disco. Turn to the flip for 'Moser', a gently sun-splashed fusion of deep house sunniness and locked-in nu-disco rich in sustained organ chords, funky guitar licks, immersive pads and subtlyLatin-tinged beats.

Review: A fresh digital single by DJ Zombi, an Israeli DJ and producer and maestro of everything progressively downtempo. A curt two-track statement comes on this fresh vinyl release; the original 'Everything Nice This Morning' is a shoulder-lifting bop, with syncopated layers and melodic upticks backing up a measured, burgeoning mood. The B-side's remix from Volen Sentir is far weightier, bringing drums front and centre while also paring back the rhythmic synths for pure ambience. Released by Moments, a project of internationally acclaimed DJ Guy Mantzur that connects the elite producers with a series of gatherings, this one's a surefire path to joint ecstasy.

Review: Israeli music-maker, DJ and editor Lior Miller has been producing and remixing music for over 20 years, time which has evidently been poured into refining the clean, melodic, cathartic sound we hear here. This fresh new EP hears two remixes by Lior of tracks by friends Phototaxis and Kutiman, an electro-soul band from Tel Aviv and psychedelic funk/Afrobeat producer respectively. Lior's signature twists and grooves lend psychedelic depth and melodic, plucky, back-of-the-club flair to the originals - don't miss it.
