Review: Following up recent releases on Dustin Zahn's Enemy, Dolma and DCLTD, Madrillian techno hero Manuel Anos aka Psyk is back on his esteemed NON Series with another impressive selection of main room techno tools. On the Everything Ascending EP, he sets the scene on a dub techno tip with opening cut 'Nine', followed by the chiming hypnotic polyrhythms of 'Some'. Over on the flip, he remains in heady territory with the deep tribal ritual of 'Hiss' and closes it out with the glassy-eyed and bittersweet abiment electronica of 'Seq6'.

Review: Minimal techno legend Psyk strips things 'Back To Basics' on this new EP, carefully revisiting his penchant for highly cross-rhythmic trance states in musical form. Like floating on a psychic backwash of pressurized trance - like a rave held on the inside of a zeppelin - 'Bite Back', 'Out Of Sight' and 'Down' blend deep beds of gusty wind sounds with light kicks and metrically dubious melodies.

Review: Psyk and Orbe are on a releasing roll, this being the next EP in a new saga by the duo. 'Tagma Sessions' hears the ultra-suffocating techno pair drop a deafening four new tracks, displaying their penchant for hardware-centrism and oppressive sonic environments. 'Liquid Drop' hears acid flagellations and oozings burst from between the hits, while 'Tagma' recalls the scraping textures of Regis' later work. 'Untitled' is the favourite - a machinic scourer that sounds much like a lone drone traversing the wastes in search of organic dissenters.
