Solid Gold FX 76 MKII Multi-Voiced Silicon Octave-Up Fuzz Effects Pedal (yellow)
Cat: 902656 Rel: 17 Oct 22

Multi-Voiced Silicon Octave-Up Fuzz.
Notes: While the Western world was preoccupied with smooth and soulful Fuzz Faces and Muffs, the Orient was bubbling up with gnarly mystical fuzzes, heavily imparted with earthshaking Godzilla DNA. This very distinct era in fuzz history gave us many treasures that have been rightfully crowned fuzz legends: the Univox Super Fuzz, Ibanez Standard Fuzz, Ace Tone Fuzz Master, Shin-Ei Companion and several others.

Just like its predecessor, the SolidGoldFX 76 MKII offers up a comprehensive guided tour to the best that the Standard Fuzz and its ilk has to offer without any of the drawbacks. On face value, the improved 76 MKII gives you a multi-voiced fuzz unit that offers loads of octave-up snarl and clang, at the same time as ruthlessly pummelling your amp with hair and fangs, while the top mounted jacks and new JFET Preamp stage all helps to make the pedal easily fit into any modern setup.

Armed with a JFET input and built around a specific set of Toshiba transistors, the 76 MKII's dual Texture and Colour tone controls allow you to precisely sculpt your fuzz while the octave switch allows you to dial back the octaves and overtones for a smoother finish.

All of this translates to a surprisingly varied and delicious fuzz feast, with everything from stabby robotic clangs, synthetic soaring leads, absolutely crushing doom chords as well as more warm and enveloping drives just a single stomp away.

Topped off with silent, soft touch true bypass switching and top jacks, the 76 MKII is everything you need if you're looking for a musical yet powerful fuzz capable of levelling Tokyo! Here's to the new Standard Fuzz.

Solid Gold FX Aurras Optical Vibraphase Effects Pedal
Cat: 1000399 Rel: 28 Feb 24

Optical phase-shifter effects pedal
Notes: The AURRAS Optical Vibraphase by SolidGoldFX is a powerful effects pedal named after the goddess of sound that meets the legacy of its predecessor the Athena Vibraphase in a harmonious blend of legendary, vintage Uni-Vibe textures and innovative, modern prowess.

Rich, Energetic Soundscapes

AURRAS Optical Vibraphase is a 2-stage asymmetric phase shifter built around a pair of selected and individually controlled opto-isolators offering a clearer signal with minimal distortion while simultaneously isolating the audio path from any possible LFO interference.

The dual LFO setup, powered by a microprocessor, provides limitless sonic flexibility. Drawing inspiration from albums such as Band of Gypsys or the Dark Side of the Moon, the AURRAS delivers the lush modulation and heavy pulse that have shaped Rock & Roll history.

With its dual LFOs, expression pedal input, adjustable dry mix control, and offset combined with Speed, Depth and Level knobs, AURRAS transcends eras with a rich tapestry of intriguing, lush liquid soundscapes. While the AURRAS features a 100% analogue audio path from input to output, it takes advantage of precise digital controls, offering soft-touch relay-based true bypass switching, on-board tap tempo and speed ramping.

Comprehensive Tone-Shaping Controls

With its dual LFOs, expression pedal input, adjustable dry mix control, and offset combined with Speed, Depth and Level knobs, AURRAS transcends eras with a rich tapestry of intriguing, lush liquid soundscapes.

While the AURRAS features a 100% analogue audio path from input to output, it takes advantage of precise digital controls, offering soft-touch relay-based true bypass switching, on-board tap tempo and speed ramping. Set your effect with the Speed knob, Expression Pedal, Tap Tempo, or by using the Ramp function. You can ramp up your LFO speed by simply holding the Tap Tempo footswitch, which will automatically ramp up to double your speed.
You can also ramp down your LFO speed by simply holding down the Bypass Footswitch. This will automatically decrease your speed to half. Repeat this process as many times as you'd like to achieve the desired speed.

Let's talk about LFO Offset

AURRAS runs on a pair of opto-isolators each operating on an independent LFO. While most Phaser or Modulation pedals use a single LFO to create their effect, independent LFOs can open a new array of effects by offsetting their symmetry.

The OFFSET ADJ knob and OFFSET MODE FREQ|PHASE knobs work in tandem. For a more conventional effect, turn the OFFSET ADJ mode fully counterclockwise, allowing both LFOs to be in sync with no offset.

The FREQUENCY OFFSET adds rhythmic patterns by slowing down the second LFO, while the PHASE OFFSET fine-tunes the throb by introducing asymmetry between the LFOs.

Solid Gold FX BETA-V Bass Preamp Effects Pedal With Drive
Cat: 935851 Rel: 04 Apr 23

Bass preamp effects pedal.
Notes: The BETA-V from SolidGoldFX is a Bass Preamp pedal that kicks! This latest incarnation of SGFX's top selling Beta Series is designed to capture the warmth and grit of favorite vintage tube amps. You know, that distinctive drive and tone that seems to be lacking from much of today's modern bass amplification.

Yes, we all know the convenience of a lightweight "sub 10 lbs" bass head that pumps out 500 watts and a neo cab that doesn't require a roadie crew or chiropractor is great, but there is something extremely satisfying in the way that big, old Ampeg-style tube setups compress, clip and round out your signal. However, with the BETA-V you can finally have the best of both worlds - bone-shaking mojo-packed dirt, all wrapped up in modern and easy to use convenience.

Solid Gold FX's classic Beta bass architecture has been reworked and expanded, delivering a wider range of tones. The low-pass filter now has 2 settings for bumped or scooped-mids as well as a centre bypass setting for a more transparent experience. Plus, the Drive control has been reworked for lower gain applications or hotter basses.

Most importantly, the BETA-V sports an active 2-band post gain EQ allowing you to boost or cut your highs and lows with a flat response in the centre. Dialling in anything from punchy overdriven Lemmy tones to the fattest, deepest soul shaking dub is only a few knob twists away. Complete with top-mounted jacks, soft touch true bypass switching and 9-18 V DC operations, the BETA-V is a true thump machine, ready to rock your world.

Solid Gold FX EM-III Multi-Head Octave Echo Effects Pedal
Cat: 826282 Rel: 20 May 21

Multi-head tape-style oscillating delay pedal, with octave
Notes: SolidGoldFX EM-III- Compact Delay Powerhouse

Welcome to the new SolidGoldFX EM-III Multi-Head Octave Echo; the smallest, most powerful and by far the most versatile SolidGoldFX delay pedal to date.

Building on SGFX's Electroman Delay legacy, the EM-III manages to both echo the past, present and future. With EM-III's wide-ranging yet ultra-intuitive control set, warm analogue-voiced echoes, precise and modern delay, as well as experimental and futuristic sound designs, are all just a single stomp away.

At your feet (or fingers) you have a multi-head tape style echo, with the ability to add in a signal an octave lower to the primary delay head. This can result in dancing, rhythmic delays with body and gravitas, as well as bold washy soundscapes. These two core features are controlled via a single mini-toggle. Flick it left to select between 1, 2 or 3 delay heads or flick it right to toggle the octave effect on and off. From there, just set your Delay Level, Repeats and Time via the knobs or tap in your preferred tempo via the soft-click tap tempo switch and let the good echo times roll.

The EM-III also sports delay modulation introduced via the Flutter control. Keep it at centre position for no modulation. Dial it left for a slow and dreamy chorus-like modulation or right for a faster vibrato, letting you create lush oceanic movement, tape-style crinkles, eerie tension and beautiful dissonance.

The colour knob allows you to engage both high-pass and low-pass filtering. Dead-centre you have a pristine full-frequency digital delay.

Dial it to the left and you cut the highs, creating warm, murky analogue-esque repeats. Dial it to the right and you suck out the lows for crisp and bright tape-style repeats or super thin lo-fi delays.

EM-III also brings interactive warp and glitch features to the tonal table by pressing and holding either Tap, Bypass or both at the same time. Hold Tap to increase the repeats until self-oscillation, creating a swelling wall of sound. Hold Bypass to replicate the sound of a tape motor on the fritz and a tape reel snapping, or hold both for glorious noise seances that will act as the perfect song/set closer.

Additional features include soft-touch, relay based, true bypass switching with the option of buffered trails, top jacks and up to a full second of delay time.

Designed to inspire and evoke emotion, EM-III can sound as pretty and cheerful or as dark and macabre as you wish.

Tune up, plug in and immerse yourself in the EM-III experience.

Solid Gold FX Surf Rider IV Modulated Spring Reverb Pedal (B-STOCK)
Cat: 934616 Rel: 16 May 22

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

The Surf Rider IV brings the surf and sand in a ground-up redesign that packs 3 distinct spring tank emulations, based on some of everyone's favourite vintage spring-laden pieces. The available reverb modes include a tight tank, based on the 60s Reverberocket, the classic splash of Solid Gold's early silver panel Super Reverb and the SGFX fantasy tank, with a slightly exaggerated drip and decay for when you want Misirlou to sound certifiably otherworldly.

Housed in a compact package, with expanded controls and added features like soft-touch bypass switching with trails, selectable momentary or latching modulation and top-mounted jacks, the Surf Rider IV is guaranteed to satisfy like a cool breeze in the sweltering heat. So, plug in honey bunny, crank it up and get your Dick Dale on!

Whether you add just a touch for a little extra depth and space or if you like your rig soaking wet and dripping with the sounds of a crashing waves, nothing quite captures the vibe of surf and summer like a good spring tank. So, here's how you operate your new favourite splash machine.

The pedal comes jam packed with 3 distinct spring reverb tanks, selectable via the 3-position toggle, each carefully crafted to give you the ultimate spring reverb experience.

Reverb-O-Rocket: Modelled after the shorter spring tanks found on Solid Gold's '62 Reverberocket and Space Echo, the Reverb-O-Rocket is designed to add depth and space to your sound, without soaking your rig. This tighter tank is crafted to emphasize the warmth of your guitar while maintaining a smooth and subtle spring reverb tail.

Super Reverb: Delivering the classic splash of Solid Gold's favourite 4x10 Fender, the Super Reverb is the ultimate amp style spring reverb emulation. Wider tails that bounce back and forth with that unmistakable metallic twerp. So get ready to be drenched in that classic 60s sound.

Fantasy Reverb: Put on your board shorts and dive into the Fantasy Reverb. If you like it soaking wet, dripping with 'verb and splashy like a crashing wave, this is the one for you. A spring reverb where each characteristic of the attack and tail is pushed to physically impossible limits. Exaggerated decay, floppier springs and a thicker body are all there when you need to go to eleven.

Surf Rider IV's Decay knob sets the amount of time your signal bounces back and forth in the spring tank. If you turn it up all the way, your signal will clang, twerp and bounce with a huge tail.

Level controls the volume of the reverb (wet) signal while the Dwell control adjusts how lively your spring tank will be. Turn it up all the way and get lost in the clangy ambience that a spring tank is famous for. Alternatively, just turn it down to get a warmer 'verb. While the Body control sets how chunky the reverb is. Looking for a huge, echoey tail? Crank it all the way up! Want the reverberations to cut through the mix? Turn it down.

Want to add even more movement to your surfing tones? Well Surf Rider IV also has you covered. The multi-function footswitch not only turns the pedal on or off, but when held down will activate a mild pitch modulation. Internal dip switches set the function of the bypass and modulation. The Speed and Depth of the modulation can also be adjusted to taste.

Power: The SRIV requires a center-negative 9VDC power adapter with at least 70mA of current (not included).

Dimensions: 4.67" x 3.68" x 1.18" (119mm x 94mm x 30mm)
