After a long while here's a new release from Clairaudience with music provided by label head Anthony Nicholson (aka Miquifaya). Taking a bit of a departure from Anthony's standard deep tribal sounds he seems to go back in time to 90s Chicago conjuring sonic images of classic labels Prescription and Balance. The A side keeps things moving with a grunty scat and grind of the organ while the flip stays straight & chuggy with spacey synths and Detroit-esque strings. A perfect move forward for that deep soulful tech sound dominating of late.
