Straight from 78: this incredible warehouse find represents Bettye's big soul sound with disco aplomb. An insistent percussive groove and slim-line strings make the foundations for Lavette and her backing singers' gutsy vocals while the bassline laps up and down like an over-cheerful dog. Complete with a special extended remix, it really doesn't get any more authentic.
