Austrian producer Demuja heads up the Muja imprint out of Salzburg, and has had previous releases for the likes of Let's Play House, Freerange, Madhouse and DJ Steaw's recently launched House Puff - which gives you an idea of where he's coming from sound wise. A strong collection of his trademark sounds are on display for his debut album Hidden Paradise: expect raw and dusty deep house jams, with a strong emphasis on MPC/hip-hop styled sampling. Taking in influences from disco, funk, soul and jazz. Highlights include the sexy mood lighting of "How Do You Love", the sensual and emotive deepness of "Hang On", the rather Moodymann influenced "Keep Doing" and the bittersweet acid express of the affectionately titled "(Never) Pu On The Light".
