A welcome return for Sweden's finest exponents of sumptuous house music, as Dorisburg delivers two tracks on this excellent twelve from Aniara. Newcomers to the label will find much to like here, with the aptly titled "Tundra" an expansive number that gradually accrues illuminating layers of melody and rich rhythm. The track has a constant upwards trajectory yet retains the feeling of gentle restraint, the deep burnt spinal synth oscillations providing the requisite hypnotic effect. On the B Side "Transform" sees Dorisburg indulge in immaculately crafted dubby house with vaguely techy overtones, frosted textures of dark sound gradually rising through the mist to lock into the stripped down percussion.
